Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design exhibition

Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design exhibition

Thirlstaine Long Gallery, Cheltenham 17th to 26th August 2019. The UK’s largest annual selling exhibition of contemporary, designer-maker furniture with selected work from other disciplines. Around 300 exhibits from over 70 workshops and schools.

The newest work of around seventy designer-makers comes together to form a unique and fascinating collection of pieces that and are undoubtedly set to become the antiques of the future. The emphasis is on furniture, but each year this is complemented by work from several other disciplines such as jewellery, sculpture, art and glass.

Makers wishing to take part in the exhibition are expected to be producing work to the highest quality, to their own designs and are required to show new work each year that they take part. This means that many of our visitors who look forward to return visits year after year are guaranteed to see an uplifting and fresh array of exhibits on each occasion.
