Clifton Cabinet Scrapers are made from Sheffield's finest saw plate carbon sprung steel. This set comprises Gooseneck, Convex/Concave and Rectangular 5" x 2½" the three most popular cabinet scrapers.
An essential tool set for anyone undertaking either solid timber, veneered or curved work. The superior quality of the steel takes and holds the turned burr for a considerable time and each scraper is easily re-sharpened with the Clifton Burnisher.
The edge can be re-worked five or six times with the burnisher before requiring re-filing and flattening on a sharpening stone. One of our favourite cabinetmaker's tools for flushing down inlays, cleaning up veneers and removing tear-out or plane marks.
These scrapers are designed to give a fine, clean finish. For best results, use a burnishing tool to hone the scrapers.
