At Wood Workers Workshop, we stand behind the quality of every tool we sell.
All products are backed by a no-quibble 12-month warranty, and our own Verum and Melbourne Tool Company (MTC) ranges go even further carrying a Lifetime Warranty — a lasting commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and peace of mind.
We’re delighted to offer this level of assurance because we only sell tools we’d be proud to use ourselves.
Standard 12-Month Warranty
Every product we sell is backed by our no-quibble 12-month warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship, as well as lifetime customer support from our expert team.
If a product develops a fault within 12 months of purchase, we’ll repair, replace, or refund it — no fuss, no quibble.
This warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear or consumable parts
• Accidental or wilful damage
• Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions
• Commercial or non-domestic use
• Any modification or unauthorised repair
Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) is required for all warranty claims.
Lifetime Warranty – Verum and Melbourne Tool Company (MTC)
Our Lifetime Warranty on Verum and Melbourne Tool Company (MTC) tools reflects the confidence we have in their build quality and engineering precision.
Each Verum and Melbourne Tool Company (MTC) product is guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
Covered:
• Manufacturing faults in materials or workmanship
• Failure of a component when used and maintained correctly
Not covered:
• Fair wear and tear (e.g. blades, screws, finishes)
• Misuse, neglect, modification, or accidental damage
• Commercial or industrial use
• Products resold or transferred from the original purchaser
If your claim is approved, we’ll repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion.
Where the product or component is no longer available, we’ll supply a comparable replacement of equal quality.
All Melbourne Tool Company (MTC) warranty claims for UK purchases should be submitted to Wood Workers Workshop, the authorised UK warranty partner for MTC.
No registration is necessary — just keep your proof of purchase.
Exclusions and Limitations
Our warranties apply only to products purchased directly from Wood Workers Workshop.
They do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles you to repair, replacement, or refund if goods are faulty.
Warranties cover manufacturing faults only. They do not apply to:
• Normal ageing, wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration
• Damage caused by misuse, modification, or storage in damp or extreme conditions
• Accidental damage or improper use beyond intended purpose
• Scary sharpening plates, abrasives and other consumables which naturally age with use
Making a Warranty Claim

To help us assist you quickly, please include:
• Your order number or proof of purchase
• A description of the fault
• Photographs showing the issue, if possible
Once reviewed, we’ll guide you through the next steps.
If your claim is approved, we’ll arrange repair, replacement, or refund.
Return shipping for valid warranty claims will be covered by Wood Workers Workshop.
