Not that great, i need to buy dust extraction reducer forthis because its 65mm which is quite large, and ive had to buy rail accessories also, and its still a bit awkward to move into the right position.
If you are on the fence about getting this jig, jump off. It is EXCELLENT
Had some issues in the beginning not the fault of Milescraft but recieved excellent support from Wood Workers Workshop made a test piece and was delighted with the result - now ready to make up a customer order
I like the material, love the innovation with gripping scale. However reading the stellar reviews I was very surprised that it was not square due to fact that the balancing tab aasembly was incorrectly positioned protruding the surface. Ok, it is adjustable, no big deal I said to myself only to find out that screws holding the assembly were not metric :) on a metric scale square.
A great little plane excellent on end grain as well as normal grain. Not had great usage yet just trials on performance. I had to hone the edges of the adjustable mouth slide edges on my 1000 diamond grit. So it slides much better with no snagging. Also the blade adjuster, small wheel, could be have better grip grooves to turn it. More like the larger Brass one which puts pressure on the blade.
This is with out doubt an excellent tool cuts perfectly out of the box with out any work
Excellent quality tool works straight out the box exceptional piece of kit
Excellent little plane. Bargain. Sole and sides square. Very comfy in the hand. What more could you ask for…
Excellent fuss free locking action, clear numerics and, best of all, metric on both edges. The icing on the cake would be graduations on the reverse.
Excellent push sticks use to make my own but these are far superior and a pleasure to use
Great piece of kit, takes a bit of getting used to but definitely good. Had to look at numerous videos/YouTube to get the hang of what was required as reading the written instructions Incra give are good, but I'm a visual learner. Still learning but good so far.
Another cracker from Milescraft. With the exception of realy tight internal corners / grooves this sanding block works great. It also grips the sandpaper well which is a great plus having struggled with wrapping sandpaper round a 2" x 2" PSE off-cut - and no overlaps either
Great bit of kit - invaluable for truly surface-square holes - and at a reasonable price
Another good value Milescraft product. Ideal for occasional pocket hole joints, but position and clamp carefully!
I really bought it to clean the groves in the bed of an old plane, but will use it more. It works well
It does work well. I was originally using 10,000 grit wet and dry, but it’s hard to tell the difference between that and the really fine lapping paper. At least the lapping paper lasts a bit longer. Unfortunately I do have a tiny air bubble from when I stuck it to the plate.
