Trusted since 1999, woodworkers across the UK and beyond have relied on us to supply premium tools backed by expert knowledge. Here’s what they have to say about choosing Wood Workers Workshop.
I have used a couple of cheaper dowel jigs in the past and decided to try something new. This Milescraft Jointpro fits the bill, it is easy to set up and very accurate. It only took a few minutes to follow the instructions and start drilling my first joints. The jig has a noticeable heft to it when you first take it from the box and feels like it will last for years. I only wish that I had purchased one sooner.
The plane arrived promptly and very well packed( as are all packages from this firm). It fits into your hand very comfortably and is delightful to use. I have used it several times now and each time it has produced excellent results. A very good buy, great value and a good addition to my range of tools. I recommend this to everyone.
An excellent bit of kit - what can I say, it's square, it's solid, well engineered and it's not £200 like the woodpeckers. An excellent alternative to some of the most expensive offerings. I love the Woodpecker tools but needed a quick and cheaper solution - this did not disappoint. Will get the smaller versions as well based on this one!
built up the kit for the router table and now ready for cutting tenons on the router table.
Shame there are no boards as accessories for other options detailed, so will have to make more boards to increase the versatility of the system.
Purchased at the special offer price, excellent quality, service and delivery. Just the job!
Like most other woodworkers I have dozens of clamps of all shapes and sizes; so why did I just buy six Verum's?
The simple answer was that WWW had a 24 hour offer on a type of clamp that I had never used or even seen being used, (and if I bought six, I got free delivery!).
Now that they are in my workshop and, having found a place and a way to stow them, I am discovering for myself why they are on the market.
My conclusion after a couple of weeks, is that unlike any of my existing clamps, they are "clampable" clamps. In my bench vice they can hold the piece I am working on in any position I need. I can clamp them to my bench top to hold long and/or odd shaped pieces and, of course, I can use them just like any other clamp.
Finally, they are well made, strong, good to handle and remarkably good value - I will enjoy working with them!
This is the only set I could find with a 57mm connector (for my planner). Good quality and easy to set up and use. Also well priced.
This is so much easier to use being flat and being imperial and metric is so useful. Would definitely recommend to. I wish they did it in a left handed version I would definitely buy it. I already have a normal left handed version tape which I use all the time being that I use my right hand to mark.
Great product thanks
Purchased this set to make gate frames mainly. Very well made piece of kit. Easy to use straight out of the box. Pity there is no built in clamp. I use a quick hand clamp to hold the jig in position while drilling. This is a must as the jig will wobble a bit if you try and hold it in place with one hand.
Used it already to make a few gate frames and they turned out really well. The 12mm drill bit is blunt already, probably because I'm drilling into freshly pressure treated wood. I've ordered a couple of 12mm Fisch brad point drill bits to see if they are any better.
Very accurate jig and a helluva lot cheaper than a Festool Domino machine.
I debated over getting the router plane as I wasn't sure how much I'd actually use it.... and I haven't reached for my plunge router since! It's a dream to use, very easy to sharpen and seems to hold an edge for ages. Have used it on cherry and maple so far and it's worked flawlessly. Great service from WWW as usual!
These tools allow you to set a distance and then take it to the machine rather than trying to just set the machine with a ruler. They work very well on the router table for setting the bit height and the fence as well as table saw blade height. The clever feature is the dual indexs so the setting can be for either the top or bottom face of the tool. The quality is exceptional and very well engineered. It is a tool that will find many uses in the workshop and unlike a ruler is has nice wide faces to measure from.
I got these to go with the trial pack of sheets because I wanted a good flat surface.. The plates arrived in good time, well packaged (as are all parcels from WWW ) and have proven to be just what I needed. Initial use shows that they provide a good honing surface and as I get more proficient in their use with the different grades of of grinding sheet then so will my edges get better. Very pleased with them.
Not a lot to say really apart from it's a fantastic bit of kit. Good weight & very accurate. It's everything you need in an engineers square. Good stuff all round.
I used the Milescraft CircleGuideKit to cut a large half-circle for my table top and it worked really well. The setup was straightforward, and it gave me a smooth, accurate curve that would have been very difficult to achieve otherwise. The only small issue I had was with the point arm connection at the pivot, it could be a little sturdier when fixing to the surface, but overall the tool did exactly what I needed and made the job much easier. Definitely a handy jig for anyone doing circular or curved cuts with a router.
It worked perfectly fine. The router cutter need abit longer because using the milescraft base, the cutter doesn't reach to cut the wood when using the template. I am abit disappointed about that. So l had to do it without the milescraft base as it is too thick. It would better if a longer router cutter or a thinner universal base were in the pack.

I bought the sign maker primarily to make so e fun signs from scrap cuts of wood. However, having made a few and honed my technique {made a few more wood scraps along the way!) I can't stop making up stuff to use it for. Easy to master.
Hate to admit this on Woodworkers workshop, but I bought it to use on my veteran metal lathe. Feel much safer now having a big stop button within easy reach.
Plenty of cable on the inlet and outlet made positioning easy. Robust construction and simple to fit.
This tool just delivers accuracy because you don't have to relie on just your eyesight. Puting a propelling pencil in a hole gives repetative marks every time so mthere is noaking marking up an easy and precise operation even if you don't have 20/20 vision.
I love this tiny plane.
It looks beautyfull and it feels very good to the touch.
I only wish it would come with the kerving saw.
I lost the cap that came with my Gluebot - this did not clip onto the nozzle anyway!!
The replacements DO work with a distinctive click as they lock onto the nozzle. I say ‘they’ since I bought more that one as I am definitely going to lose more of them.
Might be god it they could be part of the nozzle!
Verum (Fisher) metal rules are saviours for (older) people like myself, with astigmatism, since the nearly totally matt light grey surface of the rule makes the black scales stand out giving a high contrast. These rules are many, many times easier to use than the standard rules which have etched scales and hence difficult to resolve.
I can thoroughly recommend them - cost does not come into it - they are definitely worth the extra !!!
