Great piece of kit and very subtle would recommend for looking after your chisel as they are very protective. Just gently squeeze together if slightly tight on a particular chisel to aid cutting and they stop on unlike hard plastic ones.

These are a very clever design, easy to put on and to remove. They are quite expensive really for what they are, but they do their job well and should last forever. I did try searching the Internet to see if I could source something similar for cheaper, and was rather surprised that I couldn't. I'm glad they are bright red too, I'll have less chance of losing them, hopefully!

Expensive but good

These are the only chisel guards I've ever met which really work: they're excellent, and this is the second pack I've bought. However, they're ridiculously expensive for simple silicone mouldings, and made more so by being sold only in mixed packs of which most people will find some sizes much more useful (and hence want more of) than others which may sit unused in a drawer.

I bought these to protect the edges of my cheap chisels that I carry bouncing around in my general toolbag and so far I'm very pleased with them, they stay on unlike the hard plastic ones that were on when I bought them. Hope they last with the lack of care I give them because it is nice to have a sharpish chisel when I need one unexpectedly.

I’ve purchased several set of these chisel guards for my chisels and the larger sizes for plane irons and they work. Others I’ve used previously fail after a short time or just don’t work from the offset. A little care is reqd to send the guard fully home without the cutting edge damaging the silicone but this is quite easy to do . I find the colour is helpful in spotting chisels that get buried under wood shavings etc . I would recommend these to anyone who values their woodwork chisels and also prevent injuries if you were to accidentally drop one on your toes .

Best chisel guards around wish I had found them earlier

These work very well, fit a variety of chisel types and stay on. It would be wonderful to be able to buy them individually, especially for those of us who have collected different sizes and styles.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband while we were staying in the UK. He is very pleased with them as he has been after them for years. Thank you for such quick service.

These are excellent silicone guards, and well worth the money to protect your nicely sharpened chisels.

Excellent silicone chisel guards fit well ideal for the job

Goods arrived in good time as stated, chisel edge guards fitted easily with a good grip on the chisel blade.

There is only so many times you can chip your chisels in a toolbox (and cut your hand while fishing around for something else) before it occurs to you that someone else might have solved the problem already. My first solution was to have them out of tool boxes but then I wasn’t comfortable with such sharp blades lying around on benches. This is the solution. Silicone is sticky, soft and flexible so once they are on they stay on. I also use these for covering the tips of marking knives, craft knives etc. Highly recommended.

Very good stay on the chisels and don't fall off, do the job, a bit on the expensive side but will protect the chisel and work bag, should last a long time if I don't loose them.

Excellent product satisfying a common replacement need - but duplicate sizes maybe not the ideal answer.
