With three versatile carving profiles, durable blades and convenient storage, the set has everything you need to start exploring wood carving.
Three Versatile Carving Profiles
Sloyd Knife – The curved, double-taper blade and pointed tip make this a versatile carving workhorse. The pointed tip gives good access for detail work and tight areas, while the curved cutting edge is suited to shaping shallow hollows such as spoons and spatulas.
Wharncliffe Knife – The double-taper straight cutting edge is easy to strop and well suited to slicing and shaping convex surfaces, such as the backs of bowls and spoons. Its curved spine forms a fine tip for detailed carving and piercing work.
Hook Spoon Carving Knife – The curved blade features a single external taper and comes to a fine point. Designed for hollowing spoons, bowls and narrow recesses, it removes material efficiently while helping produce smooth, even curves.
Sharp, Durable Carving Blades
Each carving knife features a chromium vanadium alloy steel blade, selected for its high hardness, strength and corrosion resistance. The sharp cutting edges are designed to maintain their performance over prolonged use, helping produce clean, controlled cuts without frequent sharpening.
