Description

The Milescraft DrillBlock+ is a pocket-sized drill guide designed to keep your bit straight at 90°. Small enough to carry anywhere yet tough enough for daily use, it makes drilling square holes quick and frustration-free wherever you’re working.

With nine hardened steel bushings in common drill bit sizes, built-in alignment lines, and a V-groove for dowels or edges, the DrillBlock+ works across a wide variety of materials and shapes. Non-slip feet hold it steady while you drill, and the lightweight ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use one-handed.

Simple and effective guide.

Simple and effective guide to ensure drilling is perpendicular to workpiece surface and is accurately positioned - also enables accurate drilling of circumference on round section materials. Can be used handheld, but would recommend clamping to ensure complete accuracy.

Get your holes dead right first time

Great way to get a hole perpendicular when you think you have the drill bit square but it seldom isn't. There is a slight movement if the drill diameter is exactly the size of the indicated hole in the jig.

Good product

The only problem I see is if the drill being used is not the diameter it says it is.

Tried a 6mm brass bar and a good fit. Tried a Fisch 6mm drill and it has slop.

Why didn't I get one before now?

I've already used this a lot - a great piece of kit which will save m having to make my own drill guides. I just don't know why I have not purchased one of these before now; it would have made life so much easier for so many previous projects!

Great bit of kit

Just used it for the first time (and for the reason it was bought) and it definitely works well. I found the ability to line the Drillblock up with my marking lines a game changer. I was concerned that being hand-held, it may move around during use, but it stays rock steady. Good quality. Should last for years.

This is a useful tool. What makes it superior to other drill blocks is a greater selection of guide hole sizes. Of course, the possible downside of this is that it has to be bigger to fit the extra holes.
