I-gaging digital caliper

This low-cost add-on for i-gaging digital calipers, enables you to accurately measure centre distances between holes in the range of about 2 to 8 mm. The slotted cylindrical measuring points are held onto the calipers by means 4 x M3 grub screws. The measuring range is approximately 10 mm to the maximum of the caliper minus 10 millimeters. Apart fron measuring equal sized holes, it can be used to measure between unequal sized holes, however for most accurate results, the height of the measuring point in the smaller hole should be lowered to keep the body of the caliper parallel to the workpiece. It should be noted that for most accurate results the holes need to be deburred and clean.

Within a few days of purchasing this item I don't know how I previously managed without it. I have however made one small modification, I replaced the M3 grub screws with nylon M3 by 5 thumb screws, this enables me to take the points on and off without needing an allen key. I purchased a pack of 10 M3 nylon thumb screws from eBay for about £3.50. The only minor criticism I have of this item is that the slots we're not very well deburredm this was quickly fixed with the needle file and about two minutes work. Overall highly recommended.

Excellent Service

"The technical support and customer service I’ve received has been truly exceptional - world class and especially nice given it’s a rarity these days."
