Metal hinges are a pain. Let’s face it. It’s not so much the hinge itself, it’s those darned brass screws. When you finally do get the pilot hole centered properly, the head of the screw is sure to twist right off during installation. It makes you wonder how many brass screw heads are actually glued instead of screwed in the hinge.

Even extra long Hinge lengths are easy with the INCRA HingeCrafter -your only limit is twice the useable length of your drill bit. The included bit will make hinges well over 10" long.

Incra products and Wood Workers Workshop

I've found all of the Incra products to be worthy of five stars but even more importantly, I've found Wood Workers Workshop to be worthy of seven stars. Would highly recommend them based on the service I've received on multiple occasions.

Very pleased

Very expensive as with all incra products but also with all their products they are very well made and do a good job. With all that in mind highly recommended.

Well Engineered but.......

All said and done this is a jig and an expensive jig at that. On the plus side it is extremely well engineered which goes along way in justifying the price. However I was disappointed in the final assembly, the drill guides were all out of line and needed adjusting before I could use it. Not a difficult task as they are only held in place by Allen screws, I did struggle to undo these though as they were extremely tight but I got there in the end and was able to make my first wooden hinges. It may not sound it but I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it, just be prepared to have tweak it.

I have used it three times and it works very well , however it was very slow on delivery due to it being out of stock that said I'm happy with the product.

Excellent product, excellent service

That about sums it up. I have a few Incra products and this is just as high quality as would be expected from them. Efficient service and timely delivery - even for an international order. No complaints. Highly recommended.

Hinges

I have made wooden hinges before but it was not a success by any means.
By using the Hinge Crafter and following the instructions I have now made several sets that not only look good but also work.
The INCRA jig is very well designed and also well manufactured, the fact that I could purchase a metric version was an added bonus.
I will certainly now look at other INCRA products.
