Description

The iGaging Digital Outside Caliper is designed to measure the outer dimensions of workpieces, bowls and turned objects wall thicknesses. The gauge can measure in mm, inches or fractions of an inch. The arms have a spring load movement that allows for fast and easy measurement. The spring action means the jaws spring open easily and can be locked off with the securing screw or the reading saved using the "Hold" function. Fitted with an easy-to-read LCD display.

Excellent piece of kit.

Glad I got the one with a handle as it makes it really easy to use. I hope the larger size won't get in the way too much, it hasn't so far. With the spring clamping it makes it very easy to check your wall thickness as it flows along the sides of your vessel. I can see it being useful rather than using straight vernier callipers, particularly getting further onto a piece of work, as opposed to just the edge. Also a very reasonable price, and delivered swiftly and very well packaged. Love it.
