Description

At 1 ⅛ x 2" (Inside Dimension) this mini square is absolutely perfect for checking the edge of your cutting tools for square. Light weight, easy to grip and machined from aluminum so it can't chip your tools.  

You can use any square for checking a chisel, but they're usually too long to clear the handle, not wide enough to make it easy to align to the edge and generally poorly designed for the job. That's why Woodpecker designed the Mini Square.

The dark red anodized finish makes it easy to detect any gaps. Fits in your pocket or its own custom fitted tray. 

Guaranteed Accuracy. Woodpeckers are so confident that their Precision Aluminum Squares are the best, most accurate square you'll own, they cover them by a Lifetime Guarantee to stay square to within a minimum of .001" or we'll replace it. 

If for any reason, your square isn't, simply return it to us for immediate repair or replacement.

Great addition to your workshop

This is a great little (it's very small) tool! Beautifully made by woodpeckers, as always. It is great for checking the squareness of your chisels and plane blades when re-grinding/sharpening as well as a myriad of other jobs.

One of my most used tools

When I first saw a Pica pencil I laughed - I said how have they maned to over design a pencil quite so much, who pays that much for a pencil and who even wants a pencil that is so over designed. Well then I got one… …And it’s brilliant, it’s clipped on so I never loose it it’s got a little built in sharpener so it’s always sharp, I could go on but you get the picture and what’s a pencil got to do with a Woodpecker mini square. Well when I first saw it I laughed - I said what kind of an idiot pays that much for a square that’s only 50 mm and comes in a little MDF case. But for some reason it sat at the back of my mind so I Put my hand in my pocket… … And it’s brilliant. It just sits on my bench bright red, so I can’t loose it, in it’s little case and I use it for everything, everything, all the time. I managed without one but like that green pencil if mine vanished I wouldn’t pause I’d buy another in seconds. It could however be improved, yes I use it for everything but I haven’t had it that long and the aluminium has already marked in places. For me it needs to be made of something more durable obviously then giving me the chance to pay even more for a tiny tool.

Great setup block.

This is used by me every time I touch a tool. Jointer, bandsaw, table saw, scroll saw and router. This is a great quick way to ensure my blades and bits are at a true 90 degrees and a perfect size to fit every tool. Now I need to save up for some more Woodpecker tools.

Fantastic all round service!

I've never used Wood Workers Workshop before but have been aware of them for a few years. After spending a long time researching router tables I took the plunge and ordered an Incra top, LS Positioner and router lift, complete with the larger AUKTools router motor. Everything arrived the next day and was packaged superbly. The products are really well made and the router is very powerful and quiet compared to my old one. I had one minor issue with the LS Positioner (an Incra issue, not WWW) and it was resolved very quickly at no cost to me. I would highly recommend this company and the quality products that they stock. There is nowhere else selling woodworking equipment of this quality in the UK. I will be back for more! :-)

Best customer service

This company has the best customer service I can remember receiving. I emailed a query tangentially related to the product and got a comprehensive reply by return. I ordered the product on.a Friday and it was delivered on Saturday. The Incra products are of course excellent quality. Only a shame they use imperial fasteners, but I did find I could run am M6 tap through the 1/4 X 20 hole in the sliding washer with no obvious I'll effect so I could fit a Bristol knob to the sliding extension adjustment.
