Description

The first thing people notice when they see the Saddle T-Squares is the array of holes perforating the centre of the blade. The holes are perfectly spaced 1mm apart and are sized just right for the tip of a mechanical pencil. Laying down a line parallel to the edge of your stock is as simple as finding the hole you want, dropping in a pencil and sliding the Saddle T along the edge.

Instead of struggling to re-align a square to transfer a mark from the face to the edge, with the Saddle T-Square you can do it in one fluid motion. The 19mm (3/4") deep reference edge is machined perfectly in line with the scale edge.

When you do need the scale, you'll never find one easier to read than the scale on the Saddle T-Square. The aluminium body is anodised in the familiar "Woodpeckers Red" and the laser engraved scale is bright white. It's easier to see than most other rules, even in poor lighting conditions. Woodpeckers also bevelled the edges 30 degrees. That puts the calibrations right down on top of your work, eliminating parallax viewing error.

Woodpeckers Saddle T-Squares are milled from one solid block of aircraft grade aluminium with every edge chamfered, making the tool comfortable to work with and easy to hold. Even the tiny pencil holes have bevelled edges to guide your pencil tip in place.

I was first introduced to Woodpeckers Products when I saw Sedge n Brent Shively on Festool USA’s YouTube instructional videos or on Festool Live. I thought …oh no ! not another extremely-expensive-but-dead accurate , beautifully machined and all in all amazing-woodworking gizmo-that-I-know-I-won’t-be-able-to-hold-off-buying-for-long- because-I-managed-great-without-it-till-now but-now-that-I’ve-seen-these-guys-work-with-it-I-won’t-settle-for-anything-less ….😱😱😱

So yeah it wasn’t long before I found the fabulous Woodworkers Workshop that has great prices for this and other truly irreplaceable Woodpeckers Genius Products…and of course awesome international shipping not available at most other places!!

So now I use this lil darlin in so many applications…some I knew I would, but many others that I didn’t even imagine I could utilize this on, till I actually had it within reach!

And yes I’d be lying if I told you that it didn’t take me quite a while with that shopping cart ‘fore I hit that “Purchase” button!

But man oh man am I glad I did…and as always with Festool or Woodpeckers products…I don’t regret buying em for a split second !

I’ve used this Saddle T-Square on things ranging from your typical lining up of stock , to measuring n laying out dead accurate holes for drilling, all the way to cutting foam or neoprene with precision previously unmatched !

And I’ve yet to try this out with my Domino , or use the nifty pencil hole marking feature but I’m sure it’ll be quick, painless n easy as pie …and I must say , quite a bit of fun!

There’s just something really nice about outstandingly designed n crafted tools such as these , they not only add a high degree of precision and professionalism to your work , they are also just really fun and enjoyable and that to me is a perfect reason to spend a little extra on these Tools of Perfection!

And as a last note , if you are deliberating which size to get, there’s a great vid on the official Woodpeckers USA site by this cool dude who explains exactly how and what to decide on, according to your budget n work needs. I took his advice and got this 300mm one together with the 75mm Pocket T.

Fantastic all round service!

I've never used Wood Workers Workshop before but have been aware of them for a few years. After spending a long time researching router tables I took the plunge and ordered an Incra top, LS Positioner and router lift, complete with the larger AUKTools router motor. Everything arrived the next day and was packaged superbly. The products are really well made and the router is very powerful and quiet compared to my old one. I had one minor issue with the LS Positioner (an Incra issue, not WWW) and it was resolved very quickly at no cost to me. I would highly recommend this company and the quality products that they stock. There is nowhere else selling woodworking equipment of this quality in the UK. I will be back for more! :-)

Best customer service

This company has the best customer service I can remember receiving. I emailed a query tangentially related to the product and got a comprehensive reply by return. I ordered the product on.a Friday and it was delivered on Saturday. The Incra products are of course excellent quality. Only a shame they use imperial fasteners, but I did find I could run am M6 tap through the 1/4 X 20 hole in the sliding washer with no obvious I'll effect so I could fit a Bristol knob to the sliding extension adjustment.
