Description

The Woodpeckers Woodworking Rules are superior heavy-duty rules with accurate laser engraved markings on a 30 degree bevel; it also has a standard and a centre scale, plus it sits flat.

Woodpeckers 2" Rule Stop has precision machined edges that align easily with engraved scale graduations and ensure accurate, repetitive marks.

What makes Woodpeckers WoodWorking Rules our Best Sellers?

First it's much more accurate with precise laser engraved markings. Second it's straighter and heavier. Third it sits flat because of a recess down the centre of the bottom surface. Fourth, it has both a standard and a centre scale. Fifth, the markings are engraved on a 30 degree bevel for easy alignment to pencil marks. And finally, it looks nicer.

When you look at all the different rules being sold in retail stores, they're all pretty much intended for framing houses or general purpose use without any thought on how to make them better for those of us who build furniture and cabinets.

Tape measures are great if you're building a shed. They're not dependably accurate enough for finished furniture parts. Tape measures also don't make good straight edges to draw lines with. For that we usually look for the nearest scrap piece of lumber that we hope is straight.

Compare that to the application specific engineering that went into these new Woodworking Rules and you'll begin to appreciate the advantages. There is even a finger groove down the centre to help steer the rule in to place.

Woodpeckers 900mm rule

I have been looking at this rule for a couple of years but was afraid to by on line through fear of damage during postage,I have been a customer of this company for a while and new their packaging was always great so decided to bite the bullet an send of for it. The package arrived next day courtesy Royal Mail in perfect condition, thank you Woodwokersworkshop for your excellent service.

Nothing exceptional

Typical Woodpecker tool; well made, accurate and there is an optional component that I think should be included.
With one side going left to right and the other from the middle out, it can be confusing when you first use it.
The UJK is straight, accurate and cheaper.
Interestingly, it doesn't go to 1000mm which would have been handing.
Like everyone else says, rather price, but these guys are the cheapest.

Fantastic all round service!

I've never used Wood Workers Workshop before but have been aware of them for a few years. After spending a long time researching router tables I took the plunge and ordered an Incra top, LS Positioner and router lift, complete with the larger AUKTools router motor. Everything arrived the next day and was packaged superbly. The products are really well made and the router is very powerful and quiet compared to my old one. I had one minor issue with the LS Positioner (an Incra issue, not WWW) and it was resolved very quickly at no cost to me. I would highly recommend this company and the quality products that they stock. There is nowhere else selling woodworking equipment of this quality in the UK. I will be back for more! :-)

Best customer service

This company has the best customer service I can remember receiving. I emailed a query tangentially related to the product and got a comprehensive reply by return. I ordered the product on.a Friday and it was delivered on Saturday. The Incra products are of course excellent quality. Only a shame they use imperial fasteners, but I did find I could run am M6 tap through the 1/4 X 20 hole in the sliding washer with no obvious I'll effect so I could fit a Bristol knob to the sliding extension adjustment.
