Whiteside Up-Cut Spiral Router Bits combine solid carbide construction with an up-cut spiral geometry for smooth, accurate routing and efficient waste removal. The shearing action of the spiral cutting edges produces a smoother cut than a conventional straight router bit, while drawing chips up and out of the cut.
Efficient chip clearance is particularly useful when routing deeper grooves, dados, slots and pockets, helping prevent waste from building up around the cutting edges.
Controlled, versatile routing
The up-cut geometry provides good control when used in either a hand-held router or router table and is also suitable for CNC machining. Plunge cutting capability makes these cutters a versatile choice for box joints, grooves, dados, slots, pockets and a wide range of general routing operations.
Suitable for hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, MDF and hard plastics.
