Seven years ago I started with a woodpecker lift and a Makita router. but they are both aging so I invested this year on an Incra lift but it needed a motor to fit the USA set up. This motor is new AUKTools - Fixed Base Router Mk II - 230V ., so fare I am satisfied, it fitted perfectly in the lift and has plenty of power. Now I have two work stations, one either side of my table saw . Extremely good.

Besides the outstanding quality of this router I'm also very impressed with the router running very smoothly with a very low noise level compare to other routers similar it's size.
An outstanding feature I really enjoy is the nvr speed control switch, which gets mounted on the outside of the table, makes life so much easier, no bending down to switch on/off ir changing router bit speed.

Purchased this to replace a similar powered “Rutland” motor in my main router table. While it’s only had light use so far, it seems quite an improvement. Checking run out with a dial gauge shows it’s much better than my previous motor, corroborate by the much smoother operation. So far I am pleased.

Bought this to replace a similar motor under the Rutland badge. The difference is night and day, runs much quieter and smoother. The speed controller makes it really easy to use. My only gripe would be that it isn't simple to remove the wiring to the NVR switch is you're wanting to run the wire from the motor in a sealed router table to mount the switch on the side, but manager to adapt my router table to make it work.

Would highly recommend the product.

Everything was fine and in excellent quality

it literally had a perfect fit...... exactly tight.... in my Kreg Precision Router lifter. The UK plug works well in South Africa (220 Volts, 50 Hertz). Service was excellent.... product arrived in a matter of days.....I was able to track it all the way from UK to my home in Cape Town, South Africa.

This is the third motor for my router table, bearing failure and lack of power was the problem with the first two - I wish I had known about AUKTools years ago. It feels like a top quality product and gives me great confidence to use the bigger router bits. At slower speeds it's surprisingly quiet and definitely feels up to the job.
My previous motor had an adapter for 1/4" bits which never ran true, so having an accurate 1/4" collet is brilliant.
Wood Workers Workshop were very helpful, the package arrived quickly and I couldn't be happier!

I am extremely happy with the router. Also bought the Incra router lift. Very good quality. Speedy shipment without any problems. My only negative comment is that you do not know what RPM you are running. It is a guessing game.

Fitted my Kreg router lift like a glove, very smooth machine with hardly any runout. Looking forward to many years of service from it.

As always Woodworkers Workshop provided excellent advice on choice of a router table setup. They are my woodworking tools supplier of choice on account of top notch products and great service.

Bought the AUKtools fixed router with variable speed etc. exactly what I needed for my Kreg router table as I needed 1/2 Chuck for beaded face frame router bits. Most fixed routers are a 1/4. This seems a great bit of kit so far and superb service from WW.

Just started to use in the Jessem lift excellent combination very pleased. Fast and efficient delivery will definitely use Wood Workers Workshop again.

I would advise anybody thinking of going for a fixed base router motor to consider the AUK Tools 2400W option. In essence this is a standard motor available from several sources, However, it now comes with ER specification collets, and these are a great improvement on the various types that have been fitted in the past. In addition the AUK is quieter than my previous example with less vibration on start up and run down. It also comes with an NVR switch, saving some pennies on having to source your own. Excellent product.

Looked at all options and although this was slightly more expensive it was the right choice. Solid powerful motor. Fits into Krefeld lift with a little persuasion. Only downside is it’s a bit noisier than I expected but the power more than makes up for that. Take the variable speed option if your budget permits as makes life a lot easier.

I'm from South Africa. I bought the Auktools 2400W Fixed Base Router, First I want to thank Wood Workers Workshop for their EXCELLENT service. I received the router delivered to my front door from the UK in 3 days.....now that's what I call SERVICE!. The router fits perfectly in my router lift......took about 15 minutes to fit. It is so much more silent than any of the other products I had in the past. No loss in speed thanks to the powerful 2400W motor. An absolute pleasure to work with a product and supplier of excellence! Thank you!

After 2 years struggling with a plunge router suspended from a table, this unit is great. I was looking for fixed router to suspend in a lift for easy adjustment. The only options I had found were 110v units from the USA. This popped up during another search and was bought. Almost perfect, the remote switch speed controller doesn't have a magnetic base, mine now does! Perfect. Not yet used in anger but test cuts made during set up - does what is says on the tin. I bought this as a part of my order for the JessEm package. No issues in fitting it into the lift, no need to change any settings. The NVR switch mounts easily onto the front of the router table. It is simplicity itself to swap out router bits or change the set-up from half to quarter inch bits.

Excellent tool excellent communication

I was after exactly this kind of setup before I even knew it existed. High quality NVR switch, not even regarding the built in speed control, which is really useful for matching the router bit speed to the material. Quiet motor, that shows no sign of slowing down under load. Quick delivery from woodworkers workshop and very well packaged. Absolutely delighted with the whole setup.
