Its very easy to set up several different bit of kit quickly, moving between them. I tend to work on small projects needing to constantly re set tools. this is quick and it doesn't move when changing tools. Very good

I meant to purchase this some time ago, but when I finally went to order it, it was not in stock. So when I saw it back in stock I placed an order immediately. Glad to have this now as it’s really well made and very accurate. If you use a router table or saw table I can highly recommend.

Very accurate - I use on table saw - spindle moulder and router table. Easy to use accurate and very high - good quality manufactured.
You can tell it's not Chinese rubbish. So highly recommend it

I've not had the chance to use this yet but it's a lovely piece of equipment. It seems pretty accurate against known good rulers. It comes packaged in a thick slab of MDF and sits snugly within a cutout shape.

It’s typical Jessem quality. Easy to use and nicely made. My one reservation when I bought this was the fact that it can only be set to the nearest 1mm, as there are certainly situations in woodwork and definitely in metalwork/tool setting that you would need to be more accurate than 1mm. BUT in fact, it’s easy to remedy this and make it broadly as accurate as you want. I use stainless steel shim 0.25mm thick. A small sheet bought on eBay was about £5…it splits into 3 equal strips. All you have to do is put one or more shim strips under the left hand larger unit and hey presto, done. So if you want to set the height of a cutter to say 33.75mm all you do is set the Jessem jig to 33mm and put three x 0.25mm shims under the left hand base to give the exact height needed. I’m using 0.25mm shims because that gives me 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75mm stages which is just right for me….but other shim thicknesses are available of course. Doing it like this keeps the simplicity of the gauge itself whilst easily adding further preset increments.

Well made, solid piece of kit, no more messing around, all height and distance adjustments can now be made with one tool, my advice is buy one.
