Description

Woodpeckers Hook Stop is a simple hook that attaches to Woodpeckers Woodworking Rules - imagine being 2 or 3 feet away from the zero end of the ruler, rather than stretching to try and keep the zero end flush with the board's edge, you can simply hook that end onto the board and away you go.

Hook rulers have been around for ages. They're advantage is the ability to quickly and exactly reference the starting edge of a board

The Hook Stop is especially helpful when working with longer rulers.  Simple and effective. Like all Woodpeckers tools.

The Hook Stop is not compatible with older Woodworking Rules as well as any vintage 6". The way to know is to look at the top for two threaded holes located at 1/4" and 3/4". If the threaded holes are there than the Hook Stop will attach. Rulers purchased after 2011, should have the holes in them.

This one is so overpriced.

Thought I’d get this Hook Stop as I purchased the ruler. But wish I hadn’t because this really is overpriced for what you’re getting. This is half the price of the £60 600mm ruler. I expected a lot better. This little thing should really come with the ruler.

Staggeringly good service, the shipment arrived from Canada at the Wood Workers Workshop warehouse on the Tuesday, went out by post on Wednesday and arrived with my brother in West Wales on Friday morning ! Fantastic all round service!

I've never used Wood Workers Workshop before but have been aware of them for a few years. After spending a long time researching router tables I took the plunge and ordered an Incra top, LS Positioner and router lift, complete with the larger AUKTools router motor. Everything arrived the next day and was packaged superbly. The products are really well made and the router is very powerful and quiet compared to my old one. I had one minor issue with the LS Positioner (an Incra issue, not WWW) and it was resolved very quickly at no cost to me. I would highly recommend this company and the quality products that they stock. There is nowhere else selling woodworking equipment of this quality in the UK. I will be back for more! :-)

Best customer service

This company has the best customer service I can remember receiving. I emailed a query tangentially related to the product and got a comprehensive reply by return. I ordered the product on.a Friday and it was delivered on Saturday. The Incra products are of course excellent quality. Only a shame they use imperial fasteners, but I did find I could run am M6 tap through the 1/4 X 20 hole in the sliding washer with no obvious I'll effect so I could fit a Bristol knob to the sliding extension adjustment.
