All features delivered as promised. Tape it self appears to be durable and of quality material.
It's my eyes of course but numbers could be a bit bigger. Good contrast anyway.

This tape measure has clear markings and is easy to read. It is more flexible than most I have used but this should give longer life. Pencil sharpener is built in and is handy. Retraction is very fast but possibly too fast!

Very happy with order processing, contact and delivery. The Miles centre finding jig was a disappointment as the supplied pencil is extremely hard to fit into the holding slot. Notwithstanding a good company to deal with. Still a 5 star review

Not had one before but I feel there'll be times when i'll opt to pick up this one instead of conventional type, either way it appears to be decent quality.

Bad:
Surprised not to see a tolerance classification here. When asked, the tolerance was given was +-0.7mm per 2 metres, which isn't great and toward class III. Sort of defeats the object of having a flat laying tape for accuracy.

It's only really good for outside measurements as the tab at the end doesn't adjust for its own thickness.

It sometimes gets stuck and wont retract properly. Easily solved by pulling it out longer until it releases, but it's annoying

I did some checks and mine was +0.4mm, so not too bad.

Love the lay flat design, the scribble pad, and the left/right double scale

If I could be bothered, I would send it back for a replacement due to the wind back issue.

If you get one that's accurate, doesn't have retractable issues, and you're not making many inside measures, I would recommend this tape measure.

This tape measure is absolutely brilliant. I'm thinking of getting the inch one too, even though I'm metric 😂, as I want the option due to watching a couple of American YouTube channels. If they could make a metric storyboard tape that would be even better. So far I've had better more accurate measurements than the traditional tape. I've now started using this pretty much all the time. I highly recommend this tape measure. I find it more accurate when measuring inside measurements too due to its extreme flexibility. I wished I had bought one of these ages ago. I bought the double metric tape because it's good for being able to mark accurately on both sides of the tape onto the boards etc. If that makes sense.

Looks well made have not used as yet as received it as a present but looks and feels good quality only thing i don't like is the belt clip as you have to press the top in to open the bottom of the clip to be able to hook it on i do like the fact it is flat which should make it more accurate for marking out, time will tell how durable it is.

Great idea , not my everyday tape but excellent for measuring and laying out in the workshop

I didn't realise that these tape measures existed but what a revelation for doing close timber markings, rather than my big 1000mm rule for smaller work. The tape is completely flat so you can have it locked and positioned on a timber surface or any flat surface for easy reading of the dimensions and marking out accordingly. Its a great tape for a carpenter or for diy. The quality of the tape is great but I wouldn't say the lock mechanism is as good as conventional tapes and the pencil sharpener is not really required. Note that this does not project like a normal curved tape. Hands down worth the money.

Brought for woodworking projects and have found it really useful. High contrast and great for marking up as it's flat. Having measurements on both sides is very helpful

That's a really good measuring tape for woodworking tasks. Easy to use due to the high contrast between background and markings. The only drawback (my personal preference) - this is not an auto lockable tape.

This tape it so much easier to accurately mark a surface compared to the normally curved tape. This is a useful addition to anyone's tool kit.

The fact that it's flat and also high contrast on the white background means that it's a lot easier to use than a standard tape (curved and typically yellow). Having the same scale on both edges is also really useful and saves having to switch around (my previous ones were metric and imperial on each edge). I know these are all pretty minor things but to be honest it just saves time and frustration. I'm also finding the ability to write measurements down on the white circle in the case really useful when going between the job and the workshop. Good product and great service from these guys so would highly recommend.
