This stay put matting is sized to fit our small Polycarbonate or glass plates (290 x 85mm) with a small tolerance all round.

Anti-skid mat, stay put mat call it what you like

This is exactly what it says it is. An anti slip mat, anti skid, or stay put mat, it works. It's not the best but then it's one of the cheaper ones. I brought some back from Australia and I've been unable to buy it here in the UK, so this is the nearest I've found. If you need a non slip mat and you're in this site buy one or two

Exceptional thin over priced

After receiving the mating I could see it was thin and flimsy. Not really fit for the purpose. Especially when I went to the local pound shop and found they sold a large roll of non slip mating of the same quality thinness and density for £1, the roll being 300cm x 30cm. So I could have made 15 of a similar size to the one provided.
I purchased a heavy duty anti slip mat from a hardware store 100cm x 30cm 5 times more dense, thicker and closer weave also reinforced with kevlar meaning it is cut resistant, it was only £4.95.
I would not recommend this mating look elsewhere you'll get better, stronger, thicker and better value elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback Mark, we have been using this non slip mat for several years in our own workshop for a variety of purposes and have found it to be long lasting and fit for purpose. It grips well, doesn't tear and is easy to wash. I have trialed a thicker version but found it leached an oily residue and marked our timber if used whilst routing or sanding. We always want customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases and are happy to refund all returned items within our no quibble policy.
