Peter Sefton Advanced Bandsaw Techniques 2. Peter’s third bandsaw tutorial builds on the maintenance and set-up skills already demonstrated within the Series by introducing further advanced cutting techniques. Sharing the tried and tested methods used in his furniture making school, Peter shows more advanced tenoning methods and clever dovetail production.
Utilising the saw to its full potential, he demonstrates planking timber from the log on a safe home-made jig, precise veneer cutting, curved work using templates and freehand cutting cabriole legs. He discusses the benefits of particular blades on his precisely set-up machine and incorporates jigs where appropriate. A “must buy” for serious bandsaw users.
