The 102 Bronze Apron Block Plane is the bigger brother to our 101 Apron Plane, as the name suggests this style of plane was carried in your woodworking apron giving easy access to make small adjustments to your workpiece, such as fine drawer adjustments or final fitting joinery.
Like the 101, the body is made from cast bronze and weighs in at just 432 grams. The T10 high carbon steel blade is ground to a 25-degree bevel, and the 12 degree bed of the plane, gives an overall angle of 37 degrees.
The cap is also cast in bronze which has been designed to sit in the palm of your hand for comfortable and repeatable use. The cap is finished with an adjustable machined wheel for locking the blade in place.
