Woodpeckers Clamping Squares PLUS are a versatile woodworking tool designed for precise alignment and secure clamping during assembly and joinery. The PLUS version is significantly larger than the original, providing increased surface area for clamping and support.
Notice that Woodpeckers Clamping Squares PLUS work either inside or outside the workpieces. Look at the inside corner and see a relief cut that won’t bind on your stock if something is cut just a little bit out of square. Speaking of square, these assembly tools are CNC machined out of one solid chunk of aluminium to a tolerance of ± .0255 degrees. The square legs are 1-1/4” wide, 6-3/4” long, and 3/4” thick.

A must have tool for frame assembly that can be used internally or external and although expensive for a set of 8 (frames only) they are a serious set of square that are well made and look superb. It’s a pity the clamps are sold separately but as they look like they will last a lifetime I believe these to be a good investment. You can of course use standard clamps but I will probably get the woodpecker clamps once my finances recover. I would recommend these frame squares to serious woodworkers that strive for consistency.

Accuracy and squareness are impressive! CLP Clamps fit tightly in the holes, no wobbling. Perfect product, worth every cent.
Really pleased with these sturdy and 100% accurate squares. My only gripe is that the finished product leaving the factory could be better. Thanks to the Wood Workers team for going through their stock to find the best ones. I bought some cheaper ones elsewhere which I returned - there is no comparison. Expensive but worth it.
These are great accessories for getting everything square. It's also great that Woodworkers Workshop now stocks the clamps designed especially for the clamping squares. The clamps take up a lot less space and make the workpiece much easier to handle than using traditional clamps.
