Woodpeckers MagQuick Dust Port Starter Kit

Woodpeckers MagQuick Dust Ports use rare earth magnets to make swapping your 100mm/4" dust collector hose a simple and painless task. By connecting the magnets to a steel ring (instead of magnets to magnets), you'll never have an issue with polarity alignment and will only have to buy one magnetic connector. Woodpeckers also designed an internal bevel at the point where the two fittings meet. The bevel guides the connection into proper alignment as the magnets pull the fittings together. On the outside of the fittings, you'll find another bevel that slides into flexible hose without a struggle and a groove around the fitting so your hose clamp creates a perfect seal and will never slip. The 3 different robust fittings are injection-molded from high-strength ABS. The Collector-Side fitting has the magnets. The Inline Machine-Side fitting has a steel ring and connects hose to hose. The third fitting is a Surface-Mount adapter you can use to build customized collection ports.

Take a look on the back side of the Collector Side magnetic port. You'll see another steel ring. The ring behind the magnets reinforces the magnetic attraction. When you place the Collector Side fitting onto a steel ring fitting, the magnet "sandwich" has 18kg (40lbs) of straight pull force. But don't worry, just push the fittings apart at an angle and they pop apart easily.

MagQuick allows you to keep your shop layout universal, but hard pipe dust collection can make it difficult to rearrange your workshop if you buy a new machine or are looking for a better arrangement. Every metre of pipe, elbow and machine drop reduces the effective airflow. But if you're moving your dust hose from machine to machine you want the fast and secure connection MagQuick delivers. With a short section of flexible hose and a Machine-Side fitting on each machine in your shop, you can always have full effective extraction at each machine. If your machine doesn't have a factory-designed dust port you can use the MagQuick Surface-Mount fitting to build one.
