The NT Cutter Aluminium Large Flat Sanding Tool is designed for makers who need fast, consistent surface refinement while maintaining excellent control. Crafted in Osaka from cast aluminium, its wide Ever Grit embossed steel plate removes material efficiently across larger areas, with rounded edges that help prevent accidental dig-ins — ideal for woodworking, restoration, furniture making and instrument work.
A superb performer in leathercraft, the synthetic abrasive grips and opens up fibres more effectively than sandpaper, rasps or files, helping create stronger glue bonds and flawlessly prepared edges ahead of burnishing. Fully washable and easily cleaned with a dry brush, the plate retains its cutting power over extensive use.
Suitable for shaping wood, leather, plastics, fibreglass, light metals and removing stubborn residues, this tool offers exceptional longevity and workshop-grade reliability. Supplied with a medium grit plate, with medium and rough replacements available individually.
