The NT Cutter Aluminium Flat Small Sanding Tool is a precision Japanese-made abrasive designed for fine, controlled shaping in areas where accuracy is essential. Crafted in Osaka from cast aluminium and fitted with NT’s renowned Ever Grit embossed steel plate, it offers long-lasting performance that far outshines traditional sandpaper, rasps or files. Its triangular profile allows clean access into corners, rebates, mouldings and tight woodworking joints.
Highly valued in leathercraft, the synthetic abrasive grips and roughens fibres more effectively than paper-based alternatives, giving stronger glue adhesion and producing finely prepared edges ahead of burnishing. Fully washable and easily maintained with a dry brush, the plate delivers consistent sanding quality over many uses.
Suitable for wood, leather, plastics, fibreglass, light metals and residue paint or polish removal, this compact tool combines versatility, durability and exceptional control. Supplied with a medium grit plate, with medium and rough replacements available individually.
