Description

Multi-Knob is a toolless alternative to using bolts and nuts with a wrench. They're always there and are just one turn away from holding things in place or easily removing them.

Something that we touch and rely on for consistent functionality should get more consideration during the design process than just low cost. It's for that reason that we undertook a "let's start over" approach to making our own knob.

Introducing our new Multi-Knob. Need a 1-1/2" stud knob? No problem, install a 1-3/4" hex bolt and away you go. Need a 1/4-20 thru knob? Install a hex nut. It's that simple.

Heavy duty? Yes, heavy duty. Most low cost plastic knobs are molded with the threaded insert right up against the bottom of the knob making it easy to pull out and far less durable. The new Multi-Knob features a uniquely molded hex shaped recess on the top side of a 1/4" thick reinforced layer. This design makes the Multi-Knob extremely durable and resistant to pull out, an ideal attribute for frequently used woodworking applications.

The new Woodpeckers Multi-Knob is available for either 1/4", 3/8" or 5/16" standard hex nuts and bolts.

No special hardware required.

Nice well made item witch can be used with nuts or bolts as required. Three nuts I used are a loose fit in two of the knobs ( could be the nuts but they are tight in the other knobs).

Staggeringly good service, the shipment arrived from Canada at the Wood Workers Workshop warehouse on the Tuesday, went out by post on Wednesday and arrived with my brother in West Wales on Friday morning ! Fantastic all round service!

I've never used Wood Workers Workshop before but have been aware of them for a few years. After spending a long time researching router tables I took the plunge and ordered an Incra top, LS Positioner and router lift, complete with the larger AUKTools router motor. Everything arrived the next day and was packaged superbly. The products are really well made and the router is very powerful and quiet compared to my old one. I had one minor issue with the LS Positioner (an Incra issue, not WWW) and it was resolved very quickly at no cost to me. I would highly recommend this company and the quality products that they stock. There is nowhere else selling woodworking equipment of this quality in the UK. I will be back for more! :-)

Best customer service

This company has the best customer service I can remember receiving. I emailed a query tangentially related to the product and got a comprehensive reply by return. I ordered the product on.a Friday and it was delivered on Saturday. The Incra products are of course excellent quality. Only a shame they use imperial fasteners, but I did find I could run am M6 tap through the 1/4 X 20 hole in the sliding washer with no obvious I'll effect so I could fit a Bristol knob to the sliding extension adjustment.
