INCRA MagnaLOCK Router Plate - 7518-T

I bought this router plate to go with my Triton TRA001, the plate comes with a series of levelling grub screws around the edge and a cammed hex bolt in the corner to lock it into your router table insert, My top is a piece of 40mm Oak worktop in my long bench which I templated and milled so I can use the bench for more than one task when the router is below the table, it has worked out great for me, the plate is substantial and has the pre milled hole for my Triton lifting system

I've just built my umpteenth router table and treated it to one of these plates to complement the Incra LS Positioner I invested in many years ago. Yes, there are cheaper options and I've tried a few. This is different class.

Haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but the Incra Router Plate is very well designed and machined. I was led to believe that it would have to be drilled for the height winder of my Triton Mof 001 K router but was pleasantly surprised to find it was predrilled so a perfect fit. I can’t see it ever flexing and the magna lock inserts are a genius idea.
Absolutely delighted with the packaging and prompt delivery but mostly with the advice and technical support from Jim before and since making the decision to buy the Incra.

This is a well engineered router plate. After struggling with a cheap Phenolic plate for years I gave in and bought the INCRA. The difference is like night and day.

Received the plate and as with most incra products is well machined and well finished. The magnetic rings, were why I purchased the incra plate along with there standards in build and finish. Not disappointed and well worth the money…

Router plate arrived very prompt
& in good condition.
The only down side when opening is the parcel was 3 of the levelling grub screws were missing. Phoned woodworker workshop & they were excellent. Said they would send me replacements straight away & they arrived next day. The person I spoke to even gave me a few tips on the project i was building. Can’t wait to get it fitted to my Triton M0F001 router. Many thanks ! I would highly recommend them.

Has to be one of the best router plate designs there are and executed brilliantly.

I have not had the opportunity to fit and use my Incra Router Plate into my Workbench as yet, but it is quite obvious that this is a quality item.
The anodising is first class and all holes required to fit my Triton TRA001 Router are pre-drilled so also fully anodised.
The thickness and weight of the plate is also a good indication that it will be around for a long time.
Delivery was excellent from Wood Workers Workshop ( Once they had stock) but lots of places are struggling for stick in these difficult times.
Overall extremely happy with this purchase.

This is a good quality product. The plate feels solid and is well finished (on top of being flat), and the rings fit snugly (I did have to file a very slightly rough edge and to adjust the levelers for an flush fit). Delivery was very quick as well.

I was pleased with the service, the delivery was made 2days after order and I hadn't paid for fast tract or anything additional.
My hubby seems quite pleased with it and set to work immediately building his router table. He says to read the review by Andy Powell as he says it all.

WWW were expecting that new plated would have a widened’ winder' hole, this one wasn’t: (perhaps the next batch?)
They have offered to uplift it, and ream the hole, but we’ll see if I can get it done locally/DIY!

So far, I’ve obviously not used the plate but have set uptake TS-LS system.

As router plates go this is one of the nicest I've used. It's thick, solid, flat and isn't going to sag in your table.

Lots of levelling screws make it an simple task to adjust the height for a smooth transition from your table to the plate and off again. A simple cam-lock snugs the plate to your cut out. The above table winder (See below) is guided well to the winder and I've never had to stick my head under the table to slot it in.

The Magna-Lock inserts are snug and there's adjustment in the magnets to make sure there's no lip between the plate and the insert rings. I didn't need to make any changes to that on mine. The magnets that hold the insert rings in place are pretty strong and require quite some force to remove. There's a little grove you can slip the smallest of the 3 Allen keys in to help lever the ring up but I use a plastic strip because I don't want to scratch my plate.

Fitting the router to the base took less than a minute, everything lined up nicely.

There are a couple of caveats that you should be aware of if you're going to use a Triton MOF001 with this plate.

Either Triton have changed the size of the above table winder or Incra can't drill accurate holes My money is on Triton changing the winder. Incra's reputation is built on their accuracy. This means, if you're going to use the MOF001 then you'll need to widen the front winder hole on the plate. You can do this yourself or you can ask Woodworkers Workshop (they did it for me) to do it. I'd give them a call to ensure they can do it before it gets shipped out to you.

The second issue you'll discover when using the MOF001 with this plate is that the power switch for the router will be at the back, not the front. I use an NVR switch attached to my table so the only time I need to reach for the router power button is when changing the bit. It's not difficult to find but I wouldn't want to use this without an external NVR switch.
