INCRA Miter Gauge 1000SE (Metric)

Amazing tool. Precision and quality. My only issue was that it doesn't fit on Bosch Professional table saw. I have had to adapt a rail on the side of my table.
The mitre itself is amazing to work with and I'm glad I have purchased it.

Spent a lot of time researching which gauge to get, eventually settled on this one and pleased I did. It’s quite expensive compared to come competitors but there are a few reasons I’d say makes it worth the extra cost:
1) Multiple positive stops. A lot of other gauges have only a few. Having a positive stop every 5 degrees increases repeatability.
2) +/- 90 degree tilt. Immediately found a use for angled cuts at around 80 degrees whereas some gauges only offer a +/- 60 degrees range of motion which means it wouldn’t be possible.
3) extendable stop gives greater repeatable length of cut compared to shorter gauge fences.
4) micrometer gauge. Possibly a nice to have but I like the repeatability even if I want fractions of an angle.
5) overall build quality. Feels extremely solid and the mitre bar is easily adjustable to fit snugly in the table saw slot.

Only improvements or small disadvantages I can see are the fact the adjustment hex bolts are all imperial so my standard allen keys don’t work in them (although tools are included, this is annoying). Also don’t know why they made the flip stop locking levers in plastic - this seems a slight let down when everything else is metal and cheaper gauges have nice knurled brass knobs.

Was a bit apprehensive about spending this much on a mitre gauge but it's worth the money for me in the first 2 weeks.

Came from the factory with the 0 degree mark set at dead on 90 degrees. Gotta make sure the mitre slot and blade line up however you can adjust the gauge to the blade if need be.

It's a nice substantial unit. Quite heavy but in a reassuring way. I think it would be fine if it were to be dropped (but I can't see myself dropping it) as all the fasteners seem to be strong and with no wiggle room.

The positive stops for the angles are great, you really know that when it's locked in to an angle that you're going to get that same angle time after time. Also, the flip stop has no give in it at all and it has interlocking teeth that make millimetre by millimetre adjustment a breeze. Plus there's an ultra fine adjustment screw for super accurate positioning.

One negative for me personally: I'm using it on a Dewalt 250mm saw and the front of the table isn't that far away from the blade meaning that the cross cut capacity isn't that great using this. The spacers on the rail come out of the mitre slot when pulling it back to fit on larger stock. That means it's not as accurate as it could be and defeats the object of the product.

I'm happy with the product and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a sturdy and reliable mitre gauge upgrade.

Service from Woodworkers Workshop excellent, same day dispatch, let down by DHL not delivering weekends even though it was despatched and marked "Next day delivery". The mitre gauge seems good quality let down slightly by poor finishing. The push handle is plastic with the sprues left on leaving sharp edges, there are some linishing marks on the mitre bar and finally a burr on the body of the protractor. Not major problems but if you are selling stuff as market leading, more attention to detail is needed! The mitre gauge is good, accurate and solid once set up correctly. All in all a good buy slightly spoiled by minor niggles that should have been picked up and corrected by the manufacturers at source..

Incra gauge was very happy with speedy delivery and no Customs problems with Brexit in to EU.

INCRA Miter Gauge 1000SE (Metric)

The dewalt table saw mitre tracks are not as straight or parallel as they should be so a bit of work was needed on them to get the INCRA sliding smoothly. Probably because of that work, I needed to tune it in, but once set up it did a 5 cut test for square on a bit of ply 50 cms square and my calculator gave me a required adjustment of 0.0009 mm. Given the smallest feeler gauge I have is 0.04 mm, I think that is as accurate as I will ever need. Very happy.

Bought for hubby for Christmas. He hasn't used yet but really over the moon. Many thanks.

Easy to set up, accurate out of the box. Fits my dewalt site saw well. First impression is it is tough and will last a long time. A quality purchase. Would recommend.

Very accurate mitre guage. I should have bought this years ago.

This incra mitre is a nice balance between features and price for me, a DIY/Enthusiast. It's probably even slightly overkill but the bundled stop block and extending support is brilliant. The mitres are extremely accurate and there's a reassuring heft to the build quality. It feels like it will last and last. Night and day from the mitre gauge bundled with my table saw. An essential upgrade.

I recently purchaesd a dewalt dwe7485 table saw to help make various parts for my daughters furniture repair venture,rather than pay inflated prices for someone elses parts.The standard mitre guage though useful for basic jobs was too basic for very fine work,so after reading lots of reviews i chose the incra miter 1000se,this was the cheapest price i could get it for.I pre ordered it and it arrived almost two weeks earlier than expected.Using it is a joy,just read the instuctions to set it up and thats it.So,great product,great price, great service.If you have any woodworking skills,they will be greatly enhanced with the Incra Miter 1000se.

This is a very accurate piece of kit but if your saw table has a arrow mitre slot you will have to machine it for the gauge to fit.

Bit pricey but first class piece of equipment.

I had one of these when I bought an old SIP cabinet saw some years ago and it went with the saw when I had to sell it. I knew what I was buying before placing the order and it’s exactly as I remember. If you have a table saw with a 3/4” mitre track then buy this gauge, you will not regret it.

Needs serious adaptation to work with the narrow slots we often have on tables in the Uk. But a lovely piece of kit after working with the sloppy rubbish provided by Trend and Record in the UK.

If you want perfect accuracy, buy Incra, you will never regret it. The amount of wasted cuts I now don't have to deal with is amazing.

Have not used it at time of writing. However impressed with the quality of the product. Whilst setting it up had tremendous difficulty expanding the washers to remove play from my mitre track (DW745) however excellent advice from woodworkers workshop and Incra solved the problem.

Very good quality, overall great tool once you adjust it to your table and calibrate it
