Description

JessEm Phenolic Mast-R-Top (approx - 810mm x 610mm) is extremely durable and accurate; the ultimate in router table tops for the discerning customer looking for excellent durability and precision.

The 19mm solid phenolic top will not deform and is impenetrable to moisture, thus preventing swelling, rusting and other water damage. The Mast-R-Top is pre-machined to accept our following products:-

Router Lifts

  • JessEm Mast-R-Lift II and our AUKTools fixed base router
  • JessEm Rout-R-Lift Prestige (for European plunge routers)
  • INCRA Mast-R-Lift II
  • Woodpecker PRL V2

Router Plates

  • JessEm Rout-R-Plate (Phenolic)
  • INCRA Magnalock Plate (Solid Aluminium)
  • Any Insert Plates measuring 9-1/4" X 11-3/4" X 3/8" Thick.

The underside is also pre-drilled for our Mast-R-Fence II, and Rout-R-Stand.

The flush fitting, anodised aluminium T-slot/miter track feature a 1/4" slot for hex head bolts and also a 3/4" slot for multiple accessories, including the JessEm paralign featherboards, INCRA's Miter Gauges or other sliders. The anodised aluminium not only looks great but also offers excellent corrosion and wear resistance.

The router table top can be fixed upon your own base frame, or ideally the sturdy JessEm router table stand for the ultimate router table setup (available separately or as part of a package).

Router Table build

Need to build a router table and searched high and low for which table top to use. Ended up choosing the Jessem as I liked the Mast-R- Fence III. Table top is well build, solid flat and heavy. The table has pre-drilled holes underneath for the standard metal frame you can buy. Used some of the holes to fasten the table top to the carcass, and drilled some extra.

Cannot fault this product. Excellent quality and excellent customer service from WoodWorkersWorkshop.

Having to modify router table frame to avoid doubling up on router tables!
It has a very solid feel to top and fitting of channel.
No play in use means accuracy in cuts with fence or mitre guide.

Well made router top, as others have said plenty of fixing holes to mount to cabinet and fixing of fence. Just need to make drawers for the cabinet now to keep everything neat and tidy.

It's made by JessEm so as expected the machining is excellent. A rather extravagant purchase but made setting up my new router lift quick and easy so I could get on with the job.

Quality piece

After 2 decades of a making my own, once my current wore out I decided to treat myself to a “luxury” router setup and after setting a budget and spending many hours researching I went for the Jessem top, fence and lift. Very solid and versatile router table top

Very good weight even without a router motor and plate installed, lots of pre-drilled holes give you plenty of fitting options.

Only thing I'd like to see changed would be to move the plate opening and mitre slot closer to the front of the table.
