The JessEm Tool Company continue to innovate and produce the highest quality tools with the return of their popular Mitre Gauge. The Mite-R-Excel II™ features nine mitre detents with a spring-loaded indexing pin that will ensure accurate cuts at the most common angles.
The front fence extrusion is 508mm (20") in length with a telescopic stop that extends up to 914mm (36") and the adjustable flip stop can be used with a sacrificial fence up to 19mm (3/4") thick. JessEm's patent-pending fence locating knob will allow you to quickly reset your fence back to the correct distance to the blade. The fence also features dual scale mm and inch measurements.
Squaring up the fence to the guide bar has never been easier with the adjustable fence mount and our bar snuggers ensure your miter gauge slides perfectly into the miter slot for smooth, perfect cuts every time.
JessEm always strives to offer the best and have gone one step further on this Mite-R-Excel II™ by having the Guide Bar made of custom rolled steel from Sheffield, England, assembled with 34 Swiss turned stainless steel parts and laser engraved for accuracy on their Trumpf Fiber Laser System. The micro-adjustable fence stop completes what is a precision tool made to the highest tolerances.

We brought this for an Axminster cast iron router table, it is very much worth every penny. Unfortunately it it did not also fit our Startrite table saw which has fairly shallow slots, but thats my fault for need reading the description. Taking the table saw top to the machinist to get milling deeper.
Bought this to replace the cheap mitre gauge that came with my saw. Well, this is a very nice piece of equipment, very easy to setup and to use. Precise out of the box, I went straight to using it and the result was awesome with a precision of 1/20th of a degree. What more can I ask for ?

The mitre bar would not fit my very old machine. The firm were very gracious about me returning it, so100% to them for service. I was sorry to do this as the product appeared to be of high quality. I'll be back.

The customer service from Woodworkers workshop was excellent, putting it together and set up was very easy and straight forward, early days but the Mitre Gauge has done what was required, this is a top quality product and made to a high standard that will last. Engineering at its best.
After setting everything up according to instructions, checked for square from the positive 90stop and it was spot on I just had to tweak the fence a little to be square with the table. Quality of construction, materials... I absolutely love it!
