AUKTools NVR Switch with UK Plug

Hate to admit this on Woodworkers workshop, but I bought it to use on my veteran metal lathe. Feel much safer now having a big stop button within easy reach.
Plenty of cable on the inlet and outlet made positioning easy. Robust construction and simple to fit.

Great addition to your router table, it's so nice not to have to fumble under the table for the on/off switch, especially the off switch! This makes using the router table much safer. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to any woodworker with a router table.

Not finished my router table yet but the NVR is solidly built and tested well.

Not cheap, but an essential piece of kit when inverting a router in a table and it looks well made.

The switch does the job but is very flimsy. I’m not sure it will last long at all. Would have expected something a little more substantial for the price.

Great addition to my router table. Makes it safer than the sewing machine pedal I have been using for years.
I have fitted ear plates to fix it to the router table leg so that it is accessable at all times from the feed side.

Just the job for a self-built router table. Really simple to set up and seems like a solid piece of kit.

Bought this to give me flexibility around the garage , where I have my machines.
I was going to buy switches for 3 seperate setups... up after seeing this item...it’s covered everything I needed....(you can only operate one machine at a time).
I would recommend this for restricted spaces if you have more than one machine

I chose this NVR to have enough amperage protection for a large router in my router table. Works exactly as advertised and the extra cable means I also have the option to wheel the table into larger spaces when required.
Solidly put together and now wall mounted next to my table. Provides greater safely and protection. Very pleased.

After having another suppliers NVR switch fail on me I opted for the AUK one. Build quality is better internally. Works well.

Just what I needed for my router table. Also can be used elsewhere which is a bonus. Great value and a great bit of kit.

Does what it’s supposed to. Good length leads allow for it to be used on different machines if required.

I bought this switch to replace a different type of switch built into my Triton table saw bench. I just drilled a few holes in the back box and bolted it in place. Very solid quality product. Fast delivery. Will be back for more.

As I built a multi-functional work bench, it incorporates a jig saw, planer, router, pillar drill, and a belt sander. As with most power tools they only have an on/off switch but when using them in my bench, I need the tool locked in the on position, I needed a remote switch and this item was the ideal option. It has an on/off switch and an emergency cut button, it also means when I plug the tool in the switch prevents power to the tool until I select power. Overall, it is a brilliant idea, but does lack screw holes so it can be mounted as does the plug socket.

Just the right thing but it could be better if there were screwholes for easy fitting to the workbench.

After spending some time researching NVR switches to meet my requirements these appeared to the best available.
They look to be made of good quality materials and I especially liked the emergency stop button and lock which is not available on many NVR switches that are available on the market. The separate electrical leads for plug and socket were also attractive to me as I wanted to attach them to a stand on wheels and there was good length of cable to do this.
The price was not unreasonable for the item and the delivery time scale was very good.
I have not connected them up to use at this point but providing they work as they should then I will not be disappointed.
So far I am very happy with my purchase.

I PUCHASED THIS SWITCH TO USE WITH MY DEWALT 745 TABLE SAW. AND IT WORKS JUST FINE. WHOEVER AT DEWALT WAS RESPOSIBLE FOR PUTTING THE ON / OFF SWITCH WHERE IT IS, URGENTLY NEEDS A GOOD KICK ON THE ARSE.

I wanted to add this as an additional safety feature (emergency stop button) to my DeWalt 745 table saw, but I envisaged a problem. The Dewalt is controlled through it's own NVR and I was sceptical about having two NVR's in series. I made enquiries with the supplier who said the AUK device wouldn't work in these circumstances. As it happed I needed an NVR for another tool so I went ahead and ordered an AUK NVR switch for that purpose. Inevitably, the first thing I did was to try it on the DeWalt …. and it worked. Yes, to make the table saw work both NVR have to be set to "on". But the really interesting thing is that if one operates the table saw from that point onwards, by using the on-board Dewalt NVR, then the AUK switch stays latched-in, and therefore does not need to be reset each time the table saw is operated. The AUK switch only needs to be reset if the emergency stop button is used to kill power to the table saw. Happy days. I now need to order another AUK switch for my inverted router table. On this point, I'd just add; the real advantage with the AUK switch is the original wiring (to what ever it's attached to) remains unaltered. Therefore, if I wish to use my Triton router by hand, all I need to is detach it from it's inversion plate, unplug from the AUK NVR, and I have a hand held router seconds.

I bought this switch for use with my router which has its switch under the table and is awkward to use. Mounted on the frame I now have an excellent safety switch in easy reach.
