INCRA Miter Gauge 1000HD (Metric)

Great mitre gauge that’s right up there with the best of them. Just wish all mitre slots were the same so I could use it easily everywhere. Not the fault of this lovely piece of kit though.

The Incra Mitre Gauge 1000HD was a substantial investment for me as it was my first real mitre gauge. For the money difference I elected to go with the 1000HD opposed to the 1000SE, I may not need all the angles but for the small extra amount of money I thought I might as well have them available for future projects.
It was easy to set up on my new Compact Sawstop table saw. Having watched many Youtube videos I had an idea on what to expect but the gauge exceeded my expectations in quality and ease of use especially the micro adjustment. I did go back to WWW a few days latter and ordered the Incra Mitre Express which fitted my table very well and complements the 1000HD when making small jewellery boxes. All in all very pleased.

Infra 1000 h what a tool. Small damage when it arrived pointer bent but wood workers workshop were brilliant new part was sent next day. Super service well done will use them again.

Very precise, well made and fully adjustable, the shop stop design is ingenious. I'd prefer the various nuts and bolts to be tool free especially as they are all imperial, however hex keys are supplied so no big deal, also the aluminium extrusion could be better finished particularly where aluminium was cut. Easy to operate, very precise once set up properly, feels sturdy. For me a huge improvement over previous budget miter fence. I use the 1000hd in combination with the Incra Express sled for precision woodworking
and would definitely recommend both products.

Whilst I haven't used the gauge for a long time it is absolutely accurate, easy to setup and and use. Out of the box I needed to make a very small adjustment for 90 degrees, making it fit perfectly in the T track was a doddle. The gauge is super accurate. I probably don't need the fine adjustment it features all that often but it is there when I do. Very highly recommended.

This INCRA miter gauge is fantastic - solid build with quality materials. Took me less than 10 mins to setup on my table saw. The Wood Workers Workshop was the cheapest on the internet, I have bought from this shop before and always get good quality products.

Bought as a replacement to the stock DeWalt mitre gauge and what can I say! The difference is massive - quality, build, fit is excellent and there is no slip with the easily adjusted mitre bar. Haven’t had the opportunity yet to use properly - it is a Christmas present after all! I have no doubt that it will increase the accuracy of the cuts and and any work as the gauge is superbly engineered. Great service from the Woodworkers Workshop it was delivered well packaged, very quickly and at the best price I could find - will definitely be using them again. Thanks all round.

Minimal use so far but after much fettling it works seriously well, nicely impressed!

Became the proud owner of a new Bosch cordless table saw, model GTS18V-216, to find that the supplied mitre fence did not serve any purpose. After trying to resolve with Bosch and no luck, I took the risk and purchased this amazing gauge. was I disappointed? NO! It fits perfectly on the table, although a slight protrusion of the main bar, but that's due to the table, so will solve that headache very soon. It's a joy to have something this tactile, easy to set up and provide repeat cuts with accuracy. I'm really impressed with this, so much so I've contacted Incra to say they have become a life saver. So, if you're a portable table saw owner like me, you find that the mitre fence supplied is nothing but a joke, then invest in the Incra Miter 1000SE / HD package, you won't be disappointed. This is also a great fence for router tables and band saws, etc, so, if you need accuracy, repeatability, comfort, safety and a rock solid build quality. this is for you. There are so many features to this mitre gauge and the ability to use it for other functions, including mounting wood plates on for custom jigs, you won't go back. trust me you won't.

Money well spent, I have nothing to add, my dewalt dew 7492 needs a wider and a bit longer table to fit larger items :)

Excellent, well engineered very accurate. (Some minor tweaking of fence to true necessary) the attachment bracket face itself was true.. measuring scale adjustment/s on the fence was a bit tricky as I had to mount on the right of my Dewalt 7485 saw table. Lovely setup for your table saw. The Incra Express compliments the 1000HD perfectly, making arguably the most amazingly accurate mitre gauge money can buy. Not cheap, but if you want accuracy and repeat cuts, go for it. You won’t be disappointed. I own the Triton TWX7, and had to change the config around from that shown due to the slits being too far from the blade, but all good in the end. Calibrate your mitre with the 4 cut method, and your good to go.

Fits perfectly for my PTS10 table saw, however I had to make the adjustment to the T-nut for the Miter Slider first.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago, so far I've only used it on my router table and the accuracy is unbelievable. Currently awaiting the delivery of my new table saw, but I can foresee the accuracy of the cuts on that will be exceptional. Yes, it is an expensive piece of equipment, but as the saying goes 'you pay for what you get' and I wish I had paid out for this long ago.
Definitely give this 5*, I would give it an extra one for the service I received when the mitre arrived - it was missing a nut and bolt and after a phone call, the nut and bolt were on their way by first class post. Great piece of equipment and fantastic service from the team.

Great bit of kit waited months to get this and it was worth it, stop messing with the mitre gauges supplied with your machines they are junk. So accurate so easy to use, the only problem i had was the fence was damaged on delivery but the guys sorted it out in a day great service .

This is more useful than I thought it would be. It’s largely replaced my Festool mitre for repeat cuts. Incra seem to have thought of everything - even down to the interlocking stop which prevents mitred wood from slipping behind the stop. Ability to add sacrificial fence is built in - even provides the hardware for this. Very easy to calibrate to ensure dead accurate cross cuts. It’s heavier and more robust than I envisioned. A joy to use.

I was considering buying a very expensive compound mitre saw when I happened to read a post online suggesting that a decent mitre gauge on a table saw would be a much more useful tool. The argument made sense for my needs, so I piled in and bought this. It’s not my first piece of Incra kit, and it’s just as well-built, well-machined and solid in operation as all the rest. It was easy to calibrate it to my not-particularly-fancy table saw, and I’m now able to crosscut stock with amazing precision, both in terms of length and squareness, and all with a blade that will handle chunkier cuts than a CMS. Money well spent - would recommend.

So impressed with Incra. Checked with my guaranteed 90 degree incra gauge against blade and virtually perfect out of the box. The simple adjusters ensure no movement as you work through mitre cuts. My pictures frames are no longer a drama!

A bit of a wait fir this item to come into stock. However, it was worth the wait. Im a novice to this sort of kit but even with my novice skills the results are fantastic. Lovely tight joints. Easy to use. The 1/10th of a degree accuracy facility could be explained a little better in the instructions, not that I'll be working to that accuracy very often!!

Firstly, Wood Workers Workshop had the very best price for the Incra 1000 HD. No need to look anywhere else for a better price! The miter gauge itself is top class. You wont get anything more accurate on the market. A very well worth addition to any table saw if you are looking to do highly accurate work in relation to angles.

very well made, easy to set up and adjust for square etc, adjusting the split washers were a bit scary due to how bad the mitre slot is on my dewalt saw and how small the Allen key blots are. but did get to fit well, runs a bit tight but again due to the mitre slot.

Really good quality manufacture and a well thought out design that meets all my needs. Versatile too. I have used it on both my saw bench and router table.
Was well set-up straight out of the box and needed no alignment adjustment.
I needed to change the fixed black washers to the expanding white ones (all supplied) on the mitre bar to get it to fit well in my mitre slot, plus I had to put a spot of oil on each washer as they wouldn't expand enough. I understand this is typical, but not mentioned in the instructions. Once done the sliding fit is excellent.
Worth the investment.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Very easy to get started with this, instructions are clear. Super accurate. Slightly disconcerting as I adjusted the runners to fit snugly in the tracks of my Dewalt DW745, mainly because of the stiffness of the adjustment hex screws and the creaking they make when you turn them. Still, great tight fit once adjusted. First test cuts I did were perfect. Setup done. In use this is great. So there are two knobs to unlock whenever you change the setting, but that's really an issue. I will ensure care is taken in fully disengaging the knobs before turning the scale. I think otherwise some unnecessary wear on the scale might occur if you're not careful. I was in two minds about which model to get as there is about £100 difference between cheapest and this model. Definitely worth getting this one though, as you have everything you need and you don't have to be messing about acquiring or making other bits, you just setup and go.

Set up to use with the Incra Starter Kit and it works very well for cutting accurate angles. However a friend has one set up using the Miter Express which seems to be a better combination so will probably purchase one and use the Starter Kit for other jigs. The overall cost of adding this might have made the Miter Gauge 5000 a better option.
The extending fence is very smooth, straight and simple to use. The included Flip Shop Stop is brilliant.
