Description

The Milescraft SignPRO (Metric) is a complete sign-making kit for routing clean, professional lettering with your existing router. Two character sizes — 1-1/2" (38mm) and 2-1/2" (63mm) — let you lay out names and numbers fast, without measuring or guesswork.

The versatile design of the entire kit works with most popular routers, and the TurnLock universal base plate makes setup tool-free and quick. Simply slide the templates between the rails, clamp your workpiece, and start routing consistent results at home, in the workshop, or on-site.

It worked perfectly fine. The router cutter need abit longer because using the milescraft base, the cutter doesn't reach to cut the wood when using the template. I am abit disappointed about that. So l had to do it without the milescraft base as it is too thick. It would better if a longer router cutter or a thinner universal base were in the pack.

I bought the sign maker primarily to make so e fun signs from scrap cuts of wood. However, having made a few and honed my technique {made a few more wood scraps along the way!) I can't stop making up stuff to use it for. Easy to master.

Great, but not perfect

A great jig kit, includes everything you need to get up and running making signs. Only minor niggles. 1) Would like more font options 2) For longer signs, even when using the braces as directed, there is a degree of flex that can result in wonky lettering if you aren't VERY careful when routing. If you put any extra pressure along the Y axis the jig will flex and your letters will slope. I will experiment with additional support blocks on my next long sign

After a couple of attempts with the Letter Jig I was happy with the results, only downside is wish there were more font availabilty. I have actually made a sign for a friend and he was over the moon with the End result.

Well made because it is Milescraft and at a reasonable price too.
