Verum Satin Chrome Rule - 300mm (12")

Verum (Fisher) metal rules are saviours for (older) people like myself, with astigmatism, since the nearly totally matt light grey surface of the rule makes the black scales stand out giving a high contrast. These rules are many, many times easier to use than the standard rules which have etched scales and hence difficult to resolve.
I can thoroughly recommend them - cost does not come into it - they are definitely worth the extra !!!

I bought this rule to replace an old brushed steel rule that had rather indistinct marking and high reflectivity of light which made reading measurements difficult.

This Fisher Satin Chrome rule very satisfactorily solves all those issues and I am very pleased with it

Now this 6'' ruler really surprised me, it is so handy, the markings are easy to read. I like this type of ruler, thinner than normal and fits my pocket just right.

Only got this little six-inch ruler a couple I weeks ago and love it. I have been using it daily since as it is so convenient with very clear markings. Who would have thought something as simple as a ruler would bring so much satisfaction every time it is picked up. Get one.

Bought this as a replacement for an old rule that I had for years. Briiliant finish and very high quality ruler. Love it. Use it more now than I ever used the old one. Crisp clear markings help with laying out also. Will be getting the longer ones to compete the set.

Great little rule - I don’t think the description mentions the thickness of the rule - it’s 0.5mm thick and therefore perfect for the David Charlesworth ruler trick, which is what I use it for. It also works great for removing glue and obviously measuring; it’s intended purpose. The acid etched markings make it clear and easy to read.

brought to replace an existing fisher ruler that keeps falling through a hole in the ruler pocket of my overalls and had dented the end so had become untrue all my own fault am staying with fisher as I find other rulers I have tried seem to fade and get rub away (in and out of pocket all day at work )fisher just seem to have this sorted so made getting another a simple choise also have got some new overalls to sort the other half of the problem

Very small rule is very well made. Bought the 300mm version as well, and have used that every day since.

Purchased to replace a badly faded ruler by another manufacturer, and based on other Verum rulers that I have, I expect to get the same great service. The rulers that I already have stood the test of time very well. The markings are still very easy on the eyes. I consider this to be very good, as they are in and out of my overall pockets and on the bench all day.

These rules are flat, straight, have lovely sharp consistent edges and clear markings. Definitely need more than one. The 150mm is ideal for cleaning up and scraping off glue in glue-ups. I find the half mm divisions too much for my eyes - it is easier to judge the half mm myself between a couple of mm readings, and/or get the verniers out But that is me not the rulers!!

A ruler is a ruler so not much to say....

Actually the point is that the scales on these rulers are very easy to read - welcome for those past the first flush of youth. Certainly easier to read than Verital rulers.
