Description

Woodpeckers Drill Press Table features easier to use fence clamping knobs and zero side play flip stops. And as usual the heavy duty clamping T-Tracks and low-friction micro-dot laminate.

Two double wide T-Tracks are embedded and bolted in place from underneath. This fastening approach virtually eliminates the possibility of pull out. Each T-Track is then permanently laser engraved with an easy to read, high contrast scale clearly indicating fence position. Once calibrated to your drill press, no further calibration is needed.

The 36” long fence is very easy to adjust both front to back and left and right without the need for any tools.

The edges of the table are protected with a very durable, high density banding permanently bonded to the MDF core. Each table includes (1) tear-out eliminating filler that can be easily replaced with any ½” thick material. Underneath the filler are levelling screws to adjust the filler piece flush with the surrounding table.

      I needed a drill press table quickly, so instead of making one I bought this. The table is nicely made although I would have preferred T tracks that could take M6 T-slot bolts. The hold down clamps have proven to be a bit flimsy due to the light weight bolts and have started to bind when tightening up after only a few days use. The hold downs also could do with being a bit longer or an additional track running Infront of the drilling area would be a useful thing. I've added an additional Rockler fence that has a dust extractor attachment. It needed some extra holes drilling in the aluminium to match up with the table tracks. On the whole I'd say the table is okay and better than some of the alternatives available in the UK, but if you've got the time, make your own.

      Yes, I know that this is just the sort of thing one should make not buy but I did not. However it is well made and makes it possible to use the drill press much more accurately and of course to repeatably. It took a bit of fiddling to produce a successful way of attaching to my (Axminster Trade series) drill press but now sits permanently attached and easy to use.

      I've never used Wood Workers Workshop before but have been aware of them for a few years. After spending a long time researching router tables I took the plunge and ordered an Incra top, LS Positioner and router lift, complete with the larger AUKTools router motor. Everything arrived the next day and was packaged superbly. The products are really well made and the router is very powerful and quiet compared to my old one. I had one minor issue with the LS Positioner (an Incra issue, not WWW) and it was resolved very quickly at no cost to me. I would highly recommend this company and the quality products that they stock. There is nowhere else selling woodworking equipment of this quality in the UK. I will be back for more! :-)

      This company has the best customer service I can remember receiving. I emailed a query tangentially related to the product and got a comprehensive reply by return. I ordered the product on.a Friday and it was delivered on Saturday. The Incra products are of course excellent quality. Only a shame they use imperial fasteners, but I did find I could run am M6 tap through the 1/4 X 20 hole in the sliding washer with no obvious I'll effect so I could fit a Bristol knob to the sliding extension adjustment.
