FastCap FatBoy Pencil

Really really nice to use . Stays nice & sharp. I definitely like picking it up & using. Use’s a regular pencil sharpener. Only wish that there was a way of incorporating a sharpener in the kit.

Why I never brought one earlier is beyond me should have brought one sooner it's fantastic

This was my first time to purchase or use one of these Fat Boy Pencils. Right of, I love it. I haven't used it a lot yet, but guess what? The point doesn't disappear the second you start to use it. I have other soap stone pens and keeping a point on this is impossible. I love the colour led too. I would with wood and steel. So, I need to draw out my ideas on paper, mark out on wood or different colours and steel too; sometime black and once polished bright. This pencil with do the lot, so far, no led breaking and the point last a good time. Would I recommend these? Well let me put it this way, If I ever loose mine, I will be purchasing again. When I bought mine, I also got a packet of extra refills. My advice is do the same as you will want to use this pencil a lot. Before I go, the feel in the hand is fantastic, a soft feel and easy to use.

The fatboy pencil with extra leads arrived very quickly indeed, Great service, and a fantastic pencil it works a treat, the pencil leads are very strong and mark on anything ( with the right lead off course) three different leads can be bought with the Fatboy “ red, white and pencil “ I love it thank you guys

Works well. Is not prone to lead breaking. Sharpens well

When you are marking up wood for a project and you don't need an extra fine or scribed line, this is an excellent pencil to use. With the ability to easily swap lead colours the issue of not seeing your line is eradicated. Very comfortable to hold and use. Easy to sharpen and sand to a sharp or chisel point.

Handy to have on hand. 'nuff said.

If only I had found this first. I'm involved mainly in woodworking but also do welding and metalwork. I've all sorts of pencils for woodwork and never been completely satisfied. Until now. The fact that this product comes with a metal marker as well is brilliant. I feel it is well worth the investment. Thank you.

Brilliant. Just what I hoped it would be. The best mechanical pencil you can get in my opinion and I have tried a few. This is the only one that works and is very well made.

First class refills for a first class pencil .. you know it makes sense ...

I know .. you could use an ordinary pencil but where is the fun in that ? This product is beautiful made and the choice of leads means you can mark up metals and tiles using just one device. An "ordinary" pencil sharpener takes care of creating a really fine point .. it's just a pleasure to use!

Not the cheapest marker in the World, but you don't come to Woodworkers Workshop to save money!!
This must be my fifth attempt to find a suitable marking implement.
Very happy with results.
I am not getting a very fine point for precise work with built-in sharpener but will try a standard pencil sharpener when I can pick one up.

A great bit of kit as you can change the leads to suit the work you are doing.

Apologies - my previous review of the great pencil said it hasn't got an in built sharpener - it has, of course, the cap unscrews and its an integral part of the cap.

This is a great bit of kit produces thin positive line on the timber onboard sharpener is great and having the different colours of lead is very useful if you use different timber

So happy to have found the Fatboy pencil, it has a very strong lead , built in sharpener and a rubber which does actually work.
The clip means that it is secure unlike the proverbial pencil behind the ear.
I always find that when a pencil falls it seems to break the lead over the length of the pencil. So you sharpen it and the lead comes loose
The different coloured refills are super for working on various colours of material

Excellent pencil. A good strong lead that doesn't break off in my pocket.
And surprisingly good for general woodwork marking.
Nice to have in the shirt pocket - makes it look as if I know what I'm doing!
The secret built in sharpener is a bonus.
