iGaging EZ Cal Digital Caliper 6"

by iGaging

Super high quality and easy to read with the largest LCD display available. Ideal for measuring thicknesses, groove widths and used as an accurate depth gauge. Vernier calipers are probably our most used measuring tool in the workshop and they just seem to be the first measuring device we reach for.

Not all verniers are created equal. In fact the iGaging EZ Cal digital vernier calipers are without equal in quality at this price level.

To get the most from your woodworking machines, you are now able to measure down to 50th mm, thousandths of an inch. There are plenty of more expensive instruments available for doing exactly that, but what partly complicates matters is that human eyesight generally doesn't improve with age.

These are the easiest to read calipers that we've seen. Not only are the numbers giant at 14mm tall, but the digits are also widely spaced. The 1/10,000" digit at the right side of the display is half-height, so it's legible without being distracting when reading decimal inches.

These calipers have a 150mm (6") capacity and the display reads to 0.01mm, 0.0005"or 1/128" at the press of a button. There's also a handy decimal/fraction conversion chart on the back. Precision ground stainless steel jaws allow precise, repeatable outside, inside, depth, and step measurements. With a quick measuring speed of 120” per second. All iGaging EZ Cal verniers are IP54-splash water, oil and dust resistant and individually serialised.

They are produced from hardened stainless with a precision lapped smooth finish, Fitted case and two CR2032 batteries included.

Ez Cal Digital Caliper

Decided to buy one of these after my cheapo supermarket brand kept needing a new battery every time I turned it on. I have not been disappointed!.
You can just feel the quality and workmanship of this one. The large display is crystal clear, and the smoothness of operation makes it so easy to use. This product is real value for money, compared with what you would pay for a superior model, whilst being far and above the quality of the 'lower end' types. I look after all my tools, and so I anticipate that this new Caliper will give me years of excellent use.

Excellent bit of kit - well worth the cost.

Excellent customer service

I ordered the iGaging caliper online and it arrived within 48 hours.
Unfortunately there was a minor fault which prevented the battery compartment lid from closing properly.
I emailed Jim at WWW and a replacement arrived in the next day's post.
No quibbles and no wait for the return the faulty one.
BTW it's an excellent caliper, highly recommended.

The best digital calliper on the market by a long way...

Easy to read display. Precise. Has really useful features. Money well spent.

Very consistent

Large display which is very clear to read. Defaults to the last units used, which I like. It "remembers" it's position if switched off and back on again wth the slider away from the zero position - which I believe is sold as a feature of it's more expensive big brother. When the slider is returned to the closed position it has always displayed 0.00 - so for me, 100% consistent so far. A brilliant bit of kit and extrememly good VFM. I've previously had two of the cheap versions and both have given up after not a lot of use - and were never that consistent in use.
