Description

INCRA's Precision Bend Rule offers unparalleled accuracy, having patented marking holes to mark in rather than just etched graduations, these Rules allow you to mark out precisely with no risk of error.

Just select the slot or hole, insert a 0.5mm mechanical pencil, and mark the measurement with complete accuracy - unmatched in the industry of Marking Rules!

One of the fundamental errors woodworkers make when measuring out is marking a line then marking the next measurement line from the first; compound errors soon build up - these Rules leave those kind of mistakes as a thing of the past.

Features

  • Free INCRA Pencil
  • INCRA'S Micro-fine patented marking holes at every 1mm along its entire length
  • Slots that run from one face to the other, enabling markings to be transferred from one face of the work piece to another face.
  • INCRA Bend Rule is precisely what you need for layout and measurement along the edge of a board or other workpiece.
  • Micro-fine marking holes at every scale line to instantly locate your sharp pencil point or scribe exactly on target with zero uncertainty and no eye strain!
  • The 90 degree shape holds it snugly in place while the two scale surfaces let you mark and measure on the top, edge and corners simultaneously! There are even two vertical end scales for drawing precision parallel lines relative to the edge of your work.
  • INCRA Bend Rules make dual-surface layouts a snap using the corner slots shown above. It also provides zero-parallax measuring on any flat surface.

Available in 300mm and Imperial 6" and 12" lengths.

An aid for sore eyes

The holes and slots make lining up measurements so much easier and accurate especially for those tricky adjacent faces. I am very pleased with this rule which relieves eye strain as much as my reading glasses!

Just great for marking round corners

This is a great solution when you want an accurate mark on two faces at 90° to each other, there is nothing else like it with the same level of precision that you get with Incra.

Perfect tool for setting out , first class quality from incra -tried a cheap import but threw it away and ordered the incra instead. Arrived quickly from wood workers workshop.

Somewhat on the small side...

A little disappointed with the size of what appears to be a well-made rule. Thought it might have been wider than 3/4in (three-quarters of an inch). Have yet to use it, but I'm sure it will live up to its promoted features, principally accuracy. Looks the part and should last a lifetime.

Rules over everything!

Thought this product would be useful - very much underestimated. 90deg edge marking faultless, measurement and marking error free. Just need to improve cutting to line accuracy now!
The product is a little flimsy. A tip. To protect the rule, cut off the top end of the plastic case on the hanging board it is supplied in. The rule can then be slid out for use, then slide it back after another masterpiece and hang up providing protection. The Incra pencils also be placed inside the stowed position with the clip latching over keeping them all together.

Brilliant

The Incra measuring tools are a must for any workshop. They are so precise and well made you won’t get better. Although quite expensive, as the saying goes “You get what you pay for” would definitely recommend to any tradesmen

great little ruler, works really well, as others have said it needs a pencil with small lead, we use a mechanical pencil which works fine.

Terrific

I have arthritis in my hands and consequently have difficulty marking and transferring sizes and markings from one face to another. Thankfully I came across this very helpful rule. Now my frustration levels are right down and I can now concentrate on a much more enjoyable hobby.

12inch bend rule

So impressed with the 150mm bend rule that I ordered the 12inch version. Although I was bought up using imperial I find myself using metric measurements as well and so I do use both. The incra tools are all top quality and very accurate and easy to use. Other than a marking guage, I have not found any other tool to mark the two sides of a corner with this accuracy.
Great prices and delivery from Wood Workers Workshop.

Incra Precision Bend Rule 150mm

Arrived in good condition, from transportation, in a timely manner.
I have not had the opportunity to use it yet but don’t expect any problems being an Incra rule

Super tool

This is very useful does sneed a small led pencil and keen eyes, but when these are right this is great for marking multiple sides. The item is very thin and can bend as it came bent when delivered. I have a number of these types of marking rules from INCRA and they are all exceptionally accurate and easy to use.

Measuring up !

Nice Rule but extremely delicate and fragile. Must be careful not to cover it with heavy items (tools or wood). Really needs a protective case or wallet for its price ! Good at what its designed for (marking face & edge).

Measuring Nirvana

Who knew you needed it, or it even existed, but this thing is brilliant. I am currently studying a City & Guilds Accredited Carpentry Course, and the standards they set leave so little margin for error, this thing is perfect - especially the ¼ mm increments. Money well spent.

Superb Rules

I don't usually review web purchases but the Incra range of rules are superb. I'm not a woodworker, I'm a model maker and bookbinder but there's the same need for accuracy and these rules take all the human error out of marking up. if you measure 100mm or 150mm or 73.3mm or other, that's what you get, no more wavering to one side or other of an etched line on a regular rule with your pencil. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs accurate marking up but even more so if you ,like me, have hit that point in your life where middle age eyesight is causing you to squint and make errors despite your optician's best efforts. My only disappointment with the metric versions I bought is that they only come in a maximum length of 300mm where as the imperial version maximum is 18 inches. If and when Incra make 450mm versions I'll buy them, they're that good.
