Description

INCRA's Tiny T-Rule offers unparalleled accuracy, having patented marking holes to mark in rather than just etched graduations, these rules allow you to mark out precisely with no risk of error. It's very easy to draw exact lines in either direction.

Just select the slot or hole, insert a 0.5mm mechanical pencil, and mark the measurement with complete accuracy, unmatched in the industry of Marking Rules!

One of the fundamental errors woodworkers make when measuring out is marking a line then marking the next measurement line from the first; compound errors soon build up - these Rules leave those kind of mistakes as a thing of the past.

Features

  • INCRA's Micro-fine patented guide holes and slots at every 0.25mm, 0.5mm, 0.75mm or 1mm, from 0 to 75mm. They also offer 0 to 50mm height marking slots on the end in millimetres.
  • INCRA's Micro-fine patented guide holes and slots at the outer edges of the T-Rule's top and bottom are spaced every 1mm, whilst the four centre rows of holes are at 0.25mm increments.
  • You can draw a short line at any mm spacing using the outside slots
  • By selecting the centre rows and twisting your mechanical pencil you can spot mark any measurement to a full mm or 0.25mm, 0.5mm, 0.75mm or 1mm, before reaching the next full mm - this gives these rules the best accuracy you can achieve when marking out.
  • The end reference bar can be easily removed or slid to to the left or right hand side of the rule allowing marking out tight into a corner of a cabinet or joint. It is also great for marking precise lines parallel up to 75mm from an edge.
  • The T-Rule has an anodised aluminium fence keeping the ruler straight when marking out long lines.

Also available in 150mm, 300mm, 3", 6" and 12" lengths.

Great for consistent results

Wished I knew about these tools years ago. Lightweight and simple to use. The only downside for myself at 56 is I’ve had to buy a magnifying aid to see the very small holes but that aside it’s perfect. Had to wait a long time for delivery due to stock issues so I purchased a cheaper inferior one of amazon and it does not compare to the incra range. It’s just like the saying goes ( buy cheap-buy twice) . I’d fully recommend these tools and now have the full set

Accurate

If you require accuracy then this is the tool for you. If you want to draw a line at 9.75mm then it’s easy as can be.

My Go To Measuring Rules

Bought this and also the Tiny T rule, what a fantastic piece of kit they both are. Very accurate, and great for parallel marks off the factory edge of sheet materials. The rules are very ‘bendy’ so you need to be mindful of how you store them / leave lying around as over-bending the rule would possibly crease it.

Light

Light, accurate, pocket sized but you get through as lot of 0.5mm lead out of a propelling pencil

This ruler is just what the Doctor ordered

This ruler is just what the Doctor ordered, a very precise marking tool. I have always used the tape measure and mark with a pencil is never very accurate so this implement fills that gap, how did we ever coupe before. Thank you Woodworkers Workshop for thinking this one out...

The INCRA T-rule has the benefit

The INCRA T-rule has the benefit, as do most of the range of marking tools, of being flexible. For this 75mm "T Square" comes into its own when marking out across the curved face of a guitar fretboard for fret positions for the hand builder. The tools are made to fine tolerances and serve a luthier or cabinetmaker very well. Service from the Wood Workers Workshop is good as well. For us British oldies they stock Imperial sizes as well.

Incra T-Rule

Amazing bit of kit. Beautifully made and the accuracy is fantastic. Now used for all sorts of measurement.

INCRA T-Rule 300mm (Metric) including Pencil

Beautifully made but I would have preferred the rule part of the assembly to be made of thicker gauge material as I find the flexible nature of the rule rather inconvenient. It would be better if it was rigid, but may be it couldn't be manufactured with thicker material.

Accuracy guaranteed !

A seriously useful and versatile piece of kit. In use for measuring picture mounts and perfect for the job. Superior to a regular steel rule as it's thinner & finer for use with very thin pencil lead. Highly recommend.

Great little T Rule

Ive been using a 2mm engineering pencil with a regular rule until now. Its always felt a game of luck to get accurate cuts but this is a game changer for precision.

The pencil that came with mine didnt seem to work but I ordered 3 Incra products, each with a pencil and the others worked fine

Tiny T ruler

I have used this little ruler a few times now and it will be a permanent addition to my EDC stuff … it’s so hand for small mark ups, the only issue is that I used a very thin .3 pencil which broke easily but a .5 will fit and is a bit more robust so not a real issue.
Great product just waiting to use my 6” version ….

Incra T ruler

I’ve not had the opportunity to use this ruler yet but judging by the quality I’m sure it will be a very useful tool ….

Lesson learnt

When I purchased the rule I already had a technical pencil but when I tried using it the lead kept snapping; the pencil I was using was 0.3mm but the tool was designed to be used with a slightly broader lead. After buying the Incra pencil it worked as intended. Guessing the moral is "The right tool for the right job". Incredible accuracy for the price, but probably difficult to use if someone has poor eyesight due to the spacing of the increments.

Excellent service

I accidentally ordered the imperial version as I was in a hurry and didn't realise until the next morning. I spoke to Craig in customer service and he managed to grab my order just before it went out the door and modify my order to the metric version. I received the correct item the next day. An excellent product delivered with above and beyond care.
ps you will need a 0.5mm mechanical pencil to get best use of the tool.

Bought one for a friend

I've had one of these for a while now, plus a couple of the longer versions. When a friend told me about his upcoming project I thought that this was the perfect gift as it is easy to use and accurate. I use mine all the time.
