Micro Jig - Deflector ConnectorMJ_GRDC-020
Micro Jig - Deflector Connector
Micro Jig's Deflector/Connector serves a couple of functions within the GRR-Ripper system
The most obvious benefit is that it allows connecting two GRR-Ripper units end to end for working with longer lumber or side by side for machining wider panels.Using two Deflector/Connectors allows an even wider spacing when connecting two units side by side.
When used with a single GRR-Ripper, the Deflector/Connector also serves as a supplementary guard or shield extending off the side or the end of the GRR-Ripper body. Attached to the side of the body, it helps deflect chips that can be thrown upward from a router bit or when router using a bearing or guide pin. Attached to the end of the body when used at the table saw, it helps cover the exposed blade at the end of a rip cut.
- Allows you to connect two Grr-Rippers together for large workpieces
- Functions as a chip deflector when used with the Grr-Rip Block
- Transparent material for superior visibility
- Includes mounting hardware
Important Notice - Use Micro Jig products to improve your safety when machining - they should complement your machine guards not replace them; for a safe and happy lifetime of woodworking. All relevant health and safety practices should be used which are applicable to your country of residence.
