Excellent bit of kit, unfortunately it did not fit my router machine

Great product, ok, not cheap but worth the money I feel as now easy to change router bit in my UJK table without needing 3 arms.

Brilliant bit of kit. Makes life so much easier and quicker when it comes to changing the router bits.

I bought a Trend T14 Router to go in my UJK Router Table. Frustratingly I needed 3 hands to change router bits, one to hold the bit, one to hold the lock, and another to tighten the collet.

Musclechuck means this is now so easy. I can change bits above the table, without locking my router collet or fiddling about underneath.
I don’t understand why this type of collet lock isn't a standard feature of routers.

Absolute game changer I highly recommend.

i was resurrecting an old ELU router table and getting my knuckles skinnred every time I changed bits on my ELU 177E
This is a game changer. 1/4 of a turn with the supplied ball head allen key and you are ready to change bits.
Would be even easier if I bought a proper router lift!! Maybe Santa will read this and take the hint.

Well designed and built - easy to install and use

Great system and far better than grappling with spanner’s. Hopefully there will soon be one fro ¼ inch trimming routers.

I have been using a router table for about 20 years. Initially changing the cutters by grovelling blind underneath the table with a spanner and the spindle lock, more recently with a lift changing cutters above the table with two spanners and now the world moves on again with the Musclechuck, quarter of a turn with an Allen key and you're done. No more crushed fingers and trying to find those lost spanners! Don't let the price put you off you will wonder why you didn't buy one earlier.

I have only had the MuscleChuck a few days and not used it much yet, but I have fitted it (very easy - but bigger spanner needed) and used it (very simple and quick to fit router bit into it) and most importantly it provides a huge additional depth to the bit, when using in my Woodrat. I have some slot cutters that could previously only reach the top of the wood which was pretty useless. Now I can cut a slot in the side of a piece of wood wherever I need the slot to be.

If you use a half inch router - just buy one. Thank me later.

The Musclechuck is a great addition to any router table as it enables quick changes of router bits with a simple turn of the hex cap screw above the table rather than the alternative of using spanners often in difficult positions. I have used it for 1/2 inch bits only. Reduction bushings for smaller bits can be fitted but I have not done so yet.
