Direct suction where it is needed

The Dust Right 4" to 4" Ready-Mount Blast Gate lets you shut off unused branches of a dust collection system so more suction is available at the machine you are actually using. When open, the sliding gate retracts fully from the airflow path, helping maintain efficient extraction rather than leaving an unnecessary restriction in the line.

Both ends accept 4" inside-diameter hose, making the fitting particularly useful for individual drops to machines and workshop stations. The hose spigots are a full 2" long, giving plenty of engagement for the hose and clamp and making the connection easier to secure.

Self-cleaning and built for regular use

Dust and chips can accumulate in the track of a conventional blast gate and eventually stop it closing properly. This design sweeps debris out of the track each time the gate is closed, helping keep the slider moving freely and reducing the amount of routine clearing required.

The updated high-impact plastic construction is reinforced in the areas that take the most strain, while the reshaped slider gives a more comfortable grip for one-handed operation. An airflow-direction marking is moulded into the body so the gate can be fitted in the correct orientation.

Simple wall mounting

A sturdy mounting bracket is built into the blast gate, so there is no need to buy or fabricate a separate support. The mounting holes allow either vertical or horizontal installation, and the hose-to-wall spacing is designed to line up with other Dust Right Ready-Mount fittings for a neater, more consistent ducting layout.
