Faster, more consistent glue application

Box joints need good glue coverage across all mating faces, but applying adhesive finger by finger can quickly become a race against open time. These Rockler Silicone Applicator Tips speed up the process by delivering glue to three faces at once, helping you achieve more consistent coverage and get the joint assembled and clamped with less delay.

Each cube-shaped silicone tip is formed to suit a specific box-joint size and has dispensing holes positioned where the adhesive is needed. The ribbed faces help spread the glue as the applicator moves along the fingers, reducing the need to go back over individual surfaces by hand.

Four sizes, fitted directly to the bottle

The set includes separate applicators for 6mm, 10mm, 12mm and 19mm box joints and the imperial equivalents, covering a useful range of common finger-joint sizes. Each tip is supplied with a threaded plastic collar that fits compatible Rockler and Titebond glue bottles, so the adhesive can be applied straight from the bottle without transferring it to a separate dispenser.

Clear caps are included for covering the tips for short periods while they remain fitted. For cleaning, rinse the applicator immediately after use or allow conventional PVA glue to dry, then flex the silicone to loosen and peel away the residue; the supplied cleaning tools help clear dried glue from inside the tip.
