Better glue coverage inside dowel holes

A strong dowel joint depends on adhesive reaching the mating surfaces inside the hole, not simply coating the end of the dowel. These Rockler Silicone Applicator Tips are shaped to deliver glue around the inside of the hole quickly and consistently, helping you achieve better coverage before the joint is assembled.

Each tip has openings positioned to dispense adhesive onto the internal faces, while the ribbed silicone surface helps spread it as the applicator is worked in the hole. This is particularly useful when several dowels need gluing in one assembly and you want to keep the process moving before the glue starts to grab.

Three common sizes and direct bottle fitting

The set includes separate applicators for 6mm, 10mm and 12mm dowel joints. Each one is fitted to a threaded plastic collar compatible with Rockler and Titebond glue bottles, so you can apply the adhesive directly from the bottle without transferring it to another container or dispenser.

Clear caps are included for covering the tips for short periods while they remain fitted. After use, rinse the applicator immediately or allow conventional PVA glue to dry and flex the silicone to peel it away; the supplied cleaning tools help remove any residue left inside the tip.
