Stable Support for Longer Material Cuts

Longer or heavier stock is much easier to control when it is properly supported after the cut. This Rockler Rock-Steady Folding Outfeed Kit provides the hardware needed to build a folding outfeed table for your band saw, table saw, planer or workbench, delivering reliable support without permanently taking up valuable workshop space.

You build the outfeed table from your chosen material, while the kit provides the heavy-gauge steel leg, mounting brackets and adjustment hardware needed to connect it securely to the rear or side of your machine or workstation.

Folds Down or Removes When Not in Use

A fixed extension table can be useful, but it is not always practical in a smaller workshop. The interlocking two-part bracket system allows your shop-made outfeed table to fold down behind the machine or workstation, or detach completely by removing the tethered pins.

The telescoping leg locks in place when the outfeed table is raised for use, then closes and locks when the table is folded down for storage.

Accurate Height Adjustment

The telescoping steel leg adjusts from 762mm to 1194mm in 25.4mm increments (30" to 47" in 1" increments) using a quick-release paddle lever. Bolt-style micro-adjusters allow you to fine-tune the height of the outfeed table so it sits accurately in relation to your machine table.

A wide base with two self-levelling adjustable feet helps improve stability and compensate for uneven workshop floors.

Compatibility

This kit is designed for machines and applications measuring 356mm (14") wide or more. To install the brackets, you will need to drill two 11/32" diameter through-holes in the back edge of your machine table.

You will also need to build your own outfeed table, with its length and height determined by your application. The lower the table height, the shorter the extension will need to be. A minimum table thickness of 3/4" is recommended.
