Description
A zero-clearance insert is one of the most worthwhile upgrades for improving table saw performance. By supporting the workpiece directly alongside the blade, it helps reduce breakout on the underside of the cut, supports narrow offcuts and provides greater control when machining veneered panels, plywood and fine hardwoods.
Designed specifically for the SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw, this insert delivers a precise fit using adjustable positioning screws to eliminate movement in the table. The durable phenolic core resists wear and maintains its accuracy, while the low-friction melamine surface allows material to feed smoothly without unnecessary drag.
Pre-formed clearance slots accommodate the SawStop blade guard and riving knife, allowing normal guarding to remain in place. Dual metal wear plates provide compatibility with anti-kickback pawls (sold separately), while the positive locking latch allows fast, tool-free installation and removal. Suitable for use with standard 10" (254mm) saw blades.
