Description

Designed for Faster Pattern Work

The Woodpeckers SteadyCurve 2.0 streamlines the process of rough-cutting contoured parts prior to flush trimming. By guiding the workpiece at a controlled distance from the template edge, it leaves a consistent amount of material for the router to remove cleanly and accurately.

Simplifies Template-Based Workflow

Once the template is attached to the workpiece, the same setup can be used for both band saw rough cutting and final router trimming without repositioning the template, helping improve consistency and efficiency.

Adjustable Offset Control

The guide positions the band saw blade slightly away from the template edge, similar to how a bearing-guided flush trim bit follows a pattern. The offset is adjustable from minimal clearance up to 1/4" depending on the application.

Quick-Release Magnetic Base

The updated SteadyCurve 2.0 features a simplified magnetic mounting system. A single lever locks or releases the guide securely from cast iron or steel band saw tables for fast setup and removal.

Supports a Wide Range of Material Thicknesses

The vertically adjustable template follower accommodates stock from as thin as 1/4" up to 4" thick.

Replaceable Thermo-Polymer Followers

Supplied followers for both 1/8" and 1/4" blades are manufactured from thermo-polymer material designed to avoid blade damage while remaining easy to replace when worn.

Broad Band Saw Compatibility

SteadyCurve 2.0 is compatible with most 12" and larger band saws, including machines fitted with table extensions.

Works with Shop-Made and Commercial Templates

The guide works with MDF, plywood, plastic, and commercially manufactured templates using the same attachment methods commonly used for router template work.
