The Woodpeckers Wheel Marking Gauge with Micro-Adjust is designed to improve the precision and consistency of layout work for hand tool joinery and fine woodworking applications.

Clean, Precise Cutting Lines

The ultra-thin circular blade slices wood fibres cleanly rather than scratching or compressing them, producing a crisp, highly visible layout line that also provides physical registration for chisels and saws.

Consistent Marking from Any Angle

Unlike traditional knife or scratch-awl marking gauges, the circular blade maintains a consistent cut regardless of the angle at which the tool is held. This also allows layout lines to continue smoothly around edges and corners.

Large Stainless Steel Reference Plate

The oversized stainless steel fence provides increased registration surface area compared to traditional marking gauges, helping maintain stable and accurate alignment during use.

Two-Position Fence Configuration

The reference plate can be mounted in two orientations. The standard position maximises edge support, while the rotated position improves vertical support when marking narrow stock.

Fine Micro-Adjustment Control

The micro-adjustment system uses a fine-threaded stainless steel adjustment barrel for precise fence positioning. One full revolution moves the fence 1.6mm, allowing extremely small adjustments to be made easily and repeatably.
