This lapping plate is made from 12mm thick Polycarbonate it is ideal for use with Scary Sharpening abrasive sheets. It has been made to our specification and can be used for backing off new plane blades or chisels and for excellent results when honing your tools. It's is also an excellent base for flattening water stones. Now made of Polycarbonate for a strong and safe sharpening plate in the workshop.
