Description

Musclechuck's Quick Change Chuck allows you to change your router cutters one handed, with ease and speed from above the router table or on your CNC machines.

The chucks locking system uses just one hex wrench which leaves the other hand free to hold the cutter. The patented noose grip design gives a full 360 degrees hold on the cutters shaft and loosens with a partial turn using the included 5/32, ball-end, hex key wrench. The design of the chuck means there is no cam to wear out or damage your cutters.

The Musclechuck replaces the original router collet offering improved runout and no more rummaging around for the right wrenches, engaging spindle locks or skinning your knuckles on the router housing.

The Musclechuck opening is for 1/2" shank cutters as standard but can be used with collet reduction sleeves for a variety of shank sizes.

Great Time Saver

I watched a youtube video to satify myself this was going to work as well as my traditional chuck. It is machined to very tight tollerances that ensure the bit remains centred and balanced.

Just unscrew the old chuck, screw this one in and its ready to go. Changing bits is infinitely easier and it works well.

Game Changing Device

This device is amazing. I use my Incra router table a lot and change bits often, switching between 1/4, 1/2 and 8mm collets. The traditional collet is a pain requiring a minimum of 3 hands to set up and tighten. This device is a joy and makes changing bits a breeze. Only annoyed that I did not discover it long ago. First class service from WWW after receiving chuck with a manufacturing error. When finances permit will be looking for another for my Festool 1400 router.

Expensive but useful

I thought long and hard before buying, but it is a useful item once installed, bit changes are much easier and quicker with the router in a table. It is a lot to pay for that convenience though, nearly a third of the cost of the router itself.
